El objetivo de este proyecto que cuenta con la ayuda del programa Olas de energía es provocar miles de
encuentros, paseos y conversaciones entre diferentes. 2.016 horas para un reto colectivo: dar la vuelta
al mundo en 84 días, sumando las distancias recorridas por parejas o grupos en un circuito equipado
con balizas detectoras.

Tira-birak shows the formal evolution and content of cartoons from the late seventies up until today. A
route that will serve to remind and tell us about the social and political climate which led to these cartoon
strips.

INSTALLATION
Iturriak/Fountains is the public art installation by artist Maider López that is located in the Ondarreta
gardens until 31st October. A project from the quay Pagadi, it consists of the recovery of fountains that
were removed from the city in the last 25 years, with the intention of regaining the memory of these
places.

The Lizard’s Trail is a tour of Bernardo Atxaga’s birthplace that takes us to the imaginary land of Obaba,
to explore, step by step, the writer’s literary work and the landscape of Asteasu. During the tour, several
panels and audio recordings (audios available in Basque, Spanish and English) accompany visitors with
explanations on texts, characters and places in the author’s literary work.

This exhibition proposes that we go on a symbolic tour of the marks that the water has left on the surface
of the rocks, of the channels that it has carved over the centuries in the geological sediments, in unique
landscapes marked by the presence of micro-fossils and lichens.
