Iturriak/Fountains is the public art installation by artist Maider López that is located in the Ondarreta
gardens until 31st October. A project from the quay Pagadi, it consists of the recovery of fountains that
were removed from the city in the last 25 years, with the intention of regaining the memory of these
places.

The Lizard’s Trail is a tour of Bernardo Atxaga’s birthplace that takes us to the imaginary land of Obaba,
to explore, step by step, the writer’s literary work and the landscape of Asteasu. During the tour, several
panels and audio recordings (audios available in Basque, Spanish and English) accompany visitors with
explanations on texts, characters and places in the author’s literary work.

exhibit is composed of some 60 works that are the result of a process of interviews with the festival

In the form of a personal diary, the exhibition Welcome Mr. Hitchcock goes back over the visit to the
Basque Country of Alfred Hitchcock and his wife, Alma Reville, in 1958. The exhibition follows
chronologically and step by step the four days they spent in Biarritz, Hendaye, San Sebastian, Pasai
Donibane, Bayonne and Lourdes, presenting a remake of their trip that plays with the past and
approaches it to the present.

1808, which was more or less illegitimate, was however the first liberal charter created in the Spanish
