Friends,
First off, let me say how excited I am for the opportunity
to manage this year’s event. I’ve found the consignors to
be a great set of cattlemen to work with. Secondly, let me
congratulate the Tennessee breeders on this being their 22nd
year of offering fellow breeders all the benefits the Chi breed
has to offer.
Please study the offering and note the herd advancement
you can make in the short term with the genetic lots offered
on the front side of this catalog.
As always, if I can assist you in any way, please feel free to
contact me.

Miss Priss is absolutely a delight to the eyes of true
cattlemen and she is half of the reigning Jr. National Champion Cow/Calf pair.
Priss is rapidly becoming the most sought after, genetically outstanding female in the Chiangus breed. Her first
calf, WLCF Zeba, sold for $7,000 and was the high selling lot
at the National sale and later that week was named Division
1 Champion Chiangus Female.
In 2009 Miss Priss sold over $8,000 in embryo
sales bringing her lifetime revenue to $15,000, and she’s only
three! Woodlawn and Woodhaven truly believe this is the most phenotypically correct and
prolific female in the Chiangus breed.
Offering buyers choice of embryos between SAV Bismarck 5682 and Tryon. The
Bismarck’s will be full sibs to Zeba. Tryon is the full brother to EXAR Lutton and provides a
very exciting mating to Priss. Calves on the ground from this mating at both Woodhaven &
Woodlawn have them very optimistic. Just ask Doc and John.

GTC Big Show is impressive on the move, structurally sound, balanced from end to end,
moderate framed, and has a square rump with plenty of muscle expression. Taylor Graham,
picked his mother out of a pen of 50 replacement heifers at Foster Brothers. Her pedigree
is as good as it gets with Eagle Scout and Kendall Marie. His sire, JRBF Big Show, was
a Chiangus Classic Champion for Ard Ridge and was used by Ard Ridge when low birth
weights were needed. Look him over, you will like him. BW 1.7 WW 44.6 YW 79.9 Milk
