Terms & Conditions
HEALTH – All animals will be eligible for interstate shipment unless otherwise announced.
Interstate health papers will be furnished for each animal over six months of age. Each Animal
requiring TB and Bangs tests will have been tested within 30 days of the sale date. Such tests
will have been made by a federally accredited veterinarian and blood samples will have been
processed by a state or federally accredited laboratory. Certificates of vaccination for Bangs will
be furnished for each animal that has had such treatment.
IDENTIFICATION – It shall be the obligation of the seller to determine that each animal sold
carries a readable tattoo or brand.
REGISTRATIONS & TRANSFERS – All animals consigned as registered cattle sell with proper
ACA registration certificates, signed for transfer by the seller at the seller’s expense.
BIDDING DISPUTES – The auctioneer will settle any disputes as to bidding. His decision on
such matters will be final.
TERMS – Terms of all sales will be cash unless arrangements are made between buyer and
seller prior to the sale.
ANNOUNCEMENTS – Alteration of any information in the sale catalog will be announced
from the auction stand and such announcements will take precedence over any printed material.
PURCHASER’S RISK – The animal becomes property of the purchaser as soon as sold.
BREEDING GUARANTEE –
1. All bulls are guaranteed to be breeders. It will be the responsibility of the purchaser to have
these bulls semen checked before they are turned out with cows or before 15 months of age.
If not done, Schaefer Chiangus is not responsible. If the bulls are semen checked under these
term and found to be non-breeders, exercising options for adjustments apply.
2. All females sold under the condition “safe-in-calf” and attested to by a licensed veterinarian,
sell with no further guarantee.
3. All heifer calves are sold as guaranteed breeders. If they are unable to conceive prior to 22
months of age, the exercising options for adjustments apply.
EXERCISING OPTIONS FOR ADJUSTMENTS.
1. The purchaser must notify the seller of his dissatisfaction with any animal in writing within
six
(6) Months of the sale date.
2. In the event an animal is claimed to be a non-breeder, the purchaser may return the animal
to the seller’s farm at purchaser’s expense, if in good condition and is accompanied by a health
certificate indicating the animal is free from infectious and contagious diseases. The seller is
then entitled to a three (3) month trial following return of the animal at which time he will
have the opportunity to determine the animal’s breeding ability. At the end of the three (3)
months, the seller is unable to prove the animal a sound breeder, the seller shall have the option to replace the animal with another of similar quality or to refund the purchase price.

Production Sale. We are
really excited about the offering we have
this year. We hope that all of you can
come March 23rd. It seems now more
than ever that we should be trying to put
the best genetics we can to work for our
operations. We feel the bulls we have are
the right type and kind that could help add
extra dollars to your bottom line.
This set of bulls is something that we have
worked hard to produce and think that
they will be to your liking as always, our
goal is to produce bulls that work for our
customers. Whether you need a calving
ease bull or a real pound maker, we’re
sure you’ll be able to find the sire you’re
looking for in this year’s offering.
This year we are happy to have a quest
cosigner. Classic Genetics has brought a
real nice set of bulls to the sale. These bulls
have been fed here right with ours and
certainly have a lot to offer. Many of their
bulls are bred very similar to ours and fit
right into the pen.
We say it every year but it’s never been
more true, this year we are selling open
heifers right off the top of our replacement
pen. They are as good and deep as we have
ever sold. Two of them were members of
our Champion Pen of Three in Denver
and the rest could have been right there
with them. All have been broke to tie and
would make some great junior projects.
Again this year we have a block of rooms
under Schaefer Chiangus at the Comfort
Inn in Bismarck and will have a hospitality
room the night before (March 22nd)
starting at 6:00 PM. It would be great if
you could join us. Make your reservations
early; the hotel will be releasing any rooms
left in the block on March 13th.

Schaefer Chiangus bulls were developed on Hubbard’s high
fiber bull pellet.
Pellet is a low starch diet with 19% fiber based on corn cob and soy
hull fiber. Product is formulated at a 54 NEg to develop bulls at a rate
of 3 to 3.5 pounds average daily gain.

Linebacker son is a true standout. He is a truly powerful bull that should really sire

the crowd favorite in our pen. We believe this bull could have a real promising show
career as well as being a top notch herd sire that could change the breed.

We’ll start the open heifer lots with a member of our Champion pen of three heifers in
Denver. 109Z might have been the crowd favorite when we were there. She is one of
them that just has the look. She is super stout, big bodied, and sound to the ground.
109Z definitely deserves her time in the show ring but will shine when she is turned into
a cow. She has her whole life in front of her. Retains one successful flush at buyer’s
