MAY
MARATHON
Dr. Lenkowski
Andrea Burk joined JSC as a Medical Secretary in
late March. Ultimately, she will be working with Dr.
Reynolds when he starts his practice in August. For
now she is working to get a better understanding of
the ins and outs of JSC.
Originally from Ohio, Andrea lived in Annapolis,
Maryland from 2010 to 2012 before her husband’s
job as a National Product Support Manager for Brinks
brought them to Vinton, VA. Andrea has over 5 years
of medical office experience with front office, referrals
and authorizations, and secretarial duties. She
previously worked for a Plastic Surgeon in Maryland
and joined Carilion Clinic upon moving to Virginia.
Erin Semler loves
her two rescue dogs
- Argus, an eight
year old large black
and white American
Bulldog and Digby, a
two year old smaller
yellow terrier mix.
“My experience at JSC has been wonderful so far,”
said Andrea. “It’s great to be in an environment that is
welcoming, with such a strong sense of unity. Everyone
has been very helpful and I am proud to be a member
of a team that provides exceptional patient care.”
Our Peeps
AND THEIR PETS
In her free time, Andrea enjoys spending time with her
husband of 9 years, Bryan, and their two rescue dogs,
Daisy and Rocky. They both love to travel as much as
possible and are wine enthusiasts. They love taking
day trips to area wineries. They also enjoy finding new
and exciting things to explore in Roanoke and the
surrounding areas. In the summer, you can find them
at Smith Mountain Lake.
