Credit Union Youth Week:
Get Wild about savings April 2Oth-24th
During April 20th - 24th, youth will have the
opportunity to go on a safari at the credit union
as JSC Federal Credit Union celebrates National
Credit Union Youth Week™. This year's theme, “Wild
About Saving™,” encourages youth to use resources
available at the credit union to help them cut their
way through the jungle of financial responsibility.
Before long, they’ll be leading their own savings
safari. So stop by JSC Federal Credit Union and get
in on the action at our Credit Union Youth Week
events.

Coloring Contest:
April 1st - April 25th
You can enter our Wild About Savings Coloring Contest by
printing the coloring sheet from the STAR Team web page on
www.jscfcu.org, or by picking it up from any JSC FCU branch
beginning Wednesday, April 1st. Color it using markers, crayons,
pencils, or paints!
When you finish your coloring page and entry form, turn them
in at any JSC FCU branch location, or mail to:

Easter Bunny Visit: April 4th • 1Oam-1pm
Hop on over to the Clear Lake Branch/Main Office at
1330 Gemini, Houston, TX 77058 on Saturday, April 4th
Refreshments will be served and you’ll receive a gift from the
Easter Bunny just for stopping by (while supplies last). Ask your
parents to bring their camera to take pictures of you too!

WHAT to do
Step 1: Cut the elastic cording to about 6" in length.

Keep it a little extra long since it’s much easier
to trim it to length than to re-string the Jelly
Beans.
Tie a few knots in the bottom of the cording.
Keep the knot an inch or so from the end. This
will really help you to tie the bracelet off when
you’re done. If you tie the knot right at the end
and slide the jelly beans all the way to the knot,
you will have a difficult time tying it off.
Thread the cording through the needle.
With younger kids, you will probably have to
assist them with this, but it’s great hand eye
coordination practice for them.
Thread the jelly bean through the needle and
onto the cording.
Measure the bracelet on your child’s wrist.
Once it is long enough and you have enough
jelly beans to wrap around, triple knot the
bracelet and trim off the excess.

Branch on April 25th from 10am-1pm and enjoy this FREE event, just for
STAR Team Members! The carnival will be lots of fun and will feature a DJ,
game truck, face painting, games, food and more! We'll see you there!
JSC FCU reserves the right to cancel the Spring Carnival at any time for any reason without
