Judging will be based on 2015 BJCP Style Guidelines
1)
All entries must be from non-commercial/professional brewers
2)
All entrants must be 21 years or older
3)
Beers must be entered under the name of the brewer
4)
Cost: $5 for each beer entered (make checks payable to Hangar 24 Craft
Brewery)
5)
Send 2 12
oz. bottles per entry (one for rst round and one for best of show
round)
6)
No identifying marks on any bottles, including caps
7)
Each bottle needs bottle ID form attached by rubber band (see pdf on website)
8)
Each entry needs entry form
9)
E ntries accepted May 22 – June 4, all other entries may be disquali ed
led out (see pdf on website)
10) Drop off at locations listed or mail to H24
11) Unlimited entries per brewer, but only 1 per style sub-category
12) No entries will be returned
13) Beers will be judged based on BJCP Gui delines for beer (sorry, no mead, cider
or sake)
14) Special ingredients need to be disclosed for categories 1D, 23F, 24A, 29A,
29B, 29C, 0A, 30B, 30C, 31A, 31B, 34C.
15) H24 reserves right to combine categories based on number of entrants in
order to improve competition
16) Event volunteers are welcome to enter competition
17) Grand prize winner must meet GABF requirements for Pro -Am competition
(see link on site)
18) Winner must be a member of the AHA (American Homebrewers Association)
in order to enter beer into GABF. You do not need to be a member t o enter this
competition, but your beer cannot be produced unless you are.
19) If best-in-show winner does not meet GABF requirements, runner -up beer will
be brewed
20) Winning recipe may be changed slightly to accommodate production on H24’s
system
