Serving as the anchor restaurant for the new ARCHER Hotel Austin, the popular restaurant concept from La Corsha Hospitality Group and Chef David Bull will offer much of the same acclaimed New American cuisine as the original downtown location, as well as an expanded breakfast menu and Texas-inspired poolside and terrace dishes. La Corsha Hospitality Group will also serve as the main food and beverage partner of ARCHER Hotel Austin, providing all food service throughout the property including in-room dining, banquet and catering menus, and special treats for guests including house-made pastries with turndown service and unique balcony menus. Second Bar + Kitchen will offer service under limited hours through Sept. 10, after which time they will offer breakfast, lunch, dinner, terrace and poolside fare seven days a week. Designed by LK Architecture and inspired by contemporary Western culture, Second Bar + Kitchen’s expansive new main dining space will feature 144 indoor and outdoor seats including a 12-seat bar. The restaurant will also offer new menus at the property’s impressive outdoor social spaces – including the Pool Patio and SBK Terrace. The gorgeous ARCHER Hotel Pool Patio will feature relaxing cabana seating, a seasonal bar, an 18 ft. fireplace, and al-fresco dining for up to 150 people. New poolside menu items include Bloody Mary shrimp cocktail and salmon belly ceviche. The sweeping second-story limestone SBK Terrace will provide guests with beautiful Austin views and fireside dining featuring small plates from Second Bar + Kitchen. In addition, ARCHER Hotel Austin will offer more than 16,000 sq. feet of customizable event space throughout the property that will include full-service banquet and catering menus created by Chef David Bull and his culinary team. The partnership of Second Bar + Kitchen and ARCHER Hotel Austin is a unique pairing in that it offers hotel guests access to the award-winning cuisine of a local chef beyond the walls of the restaurant. Chef Bull’s culinary talent will be highlighted throughout the property – from the enticing in-room dining menu that will feature favorites like the award-winning Congress Burger to chef-inspired balcony trays featuring food and beverage pairings that pay homage to Austin’s beloved patio culture. “SBK is honored to be able to serve our guests a vast array of unique food and beverage offerings,” says Bull. “From 24-hour in room dining to poolside ceviche; 16,000 square feet of banquet and catering space – to specialty curated turn down treats – it’s a really exciting partnership with the Archer that allows us to create specific moments of Texas hospitality.” Chef Bull’s talented La Corsha team will also bring their unique culinary expertise to the property. Revered beverage director, Jason Stevens, has created a distinct program for the new restaurant that features world-class, quality focused cocktails made with classic and modern techniques. Stevens’ signature cocktails will be served throughout the property – including at all hotel bars. Paula Rester, longtime wine director for La Corsha, has carefully selected the wine program to reflect the casual luxury of the new location. Pastry chef, Michelle Arcilla Hall, will oversee Second Bar + Kitchen’s new pastry menu as well as all banquet and catering desserts. Brandon Testi will serve under Chef Bull as chef de cuisine, along with an accomplished team of chefs and hospitality experts. Cynthia Nelson will ensure culinary service is seamless and impeccable across the property in her role as food and beverage director for ARCHER Hotel.
