annual report 2014-2015 - Turtle Wing Foundation
ANNUAL REPORT
2014-2015
A Word from Our Founder
I
am very excited about
the foundation’s growth
this year; we have helped
serve over 150 children
and continue to touch
families who struggle with
learning challenges every
day. The support from you,
our donors, grantors and
community partners, is how we can continue our
mission and we are overwhelmed by your continuous
generosity. Our service providers, who work directly
with these children, are a Godsend. We are so
fortunate to have amazing teachers and specialists
in our local area who provide these much needed
services. With your help, Turtle Wing Foundation is
able to make our communities, schools and families
better, in the spirit of Jack, who made everyone and
everything around him BETTER.
Mission

Turtle Wing Foundation now has an office thanks to the
generosity of Prost Properties. The office is located at 723
Upton Avenue in Schulenburg between Leon’s and Tweety’s
Salon. This now allows for a central location for storage of
Turtle Wing records and Derby supplies; meeting space for the
board and for family consults; and allows for the expanded
presence of Turtle Wing and for day-to-day business activity
as the foundation works to expand its impact on the counties
it serves. Stop by if you’re in town for a visit or to buy a Turtle
Wing t-shirt.
