6. Border 1: cut (12) 2” strips from Fabric J, sew 3 strips together lengthwise, then trim to 81½“ (cut (8), sew 2
strips together, then trim 2 strips to 81 1/2” and 2 strips to 54 1/2”). Repeat for a total of four strips. Add a 2”
x 2” cornerstone to each end of two strips. Add to quilt, sewing opposite sides without cornerstones first.
7. Border 2: cut (4) 4½” x 88” lengthwise from Fabric F, trim to 83½”. Add a 4 ½” cornerstone to each end of
two strips. Add to quilt, sewing opposite sides without cornerstones first. (No second border for twin.)
8. Border 3: cut (12) 8½” strips from Fabric I. Sew (3) 8½” strips together lengthwise, then trim to 92½”
Repeat for a total of four strips. Add 8½” x 8½” cornerstone to each end of two strips. Add to quilt, sewing
opposite sides without cornerstones first. (Cut (8) 5 1/2” strips from Fabric I. Sew (2) 5 1/2” strips together
lengthwise Repeat for a total of 4 strips. Then trim 2 pairs to 57 1/2” and 2 pairs to 84 1/2”. Add 5 1/2” x 5 1/2”
cornerstones to each end of short two strips.)
9. Layer, quilt and bind.
