background as a basis
for forming new ideas for
holidays.
TRIESTE, WORLD WAR ONE, LJUBLJANA AND
POSTOJNA
The tour starts in Trieste, with a free walk in the city, to discover its treasures of art and its historic
cafés. Break at a historic café of the city centre to enjoy a cup of excellent coffee. Dinner based on
specialities from Trieste and hotel accommodation. On the following morning, visit to the Museum
of Risorgimento and to Guglielmo Oberdan’s Memorial. The tour continues towards Redipuglia,
along the road where the bronze monument “ lupi di Toscana”, dedicated to the Brigata Toscana
brigade, is situated. Lunch in a restaurant or farm restaurant. Back to Trieste stopping at Monte
Ermada and visit to the Open-air Museum with its charming Austro-Hungarian fortifications. A few
kilometres far from the Museum it is possible to visit the Austro-Hungarian cemetery of Aurisina.
Tasting of typical products from the Karst in a farm. Hotel accommodation. Departure for Ljubljana
with a visit to the wonderful Postojna Caves and lunch in a restaurant. Continuation of the tour and
arrival in Ljubljana in the afternoon, with a first walk in the city. Hotel accommodation and tasting
dinner in a restaurant.
TRST, PRVA SVETOVNA VOJNA, LJUBLJANA IN POSTOJNA
Pot se začne v Trstu, s prostim sprehodom po mestu, v odkrivanju umetnostnih zakladov in
zgodovinskih kavarn. Postanek v zgodovinski kavarni v mestnem središču za degustacijo odlične kave.
Večerja s tržaškimi specialitetami in nočitev v hotelu. Naslednje jutro ogled Muzeja Risorgimenta
ter spomenika Guglielma Oberdana. Nadaljuje se proti Sredipolju, po poti postanek pred bronastim
spomenikom “Toskanski volkovi”, ki je posvečen Toskanski brigadi. Kosilo v restavraciji ali
agriturizmu. Povratek proti Trstu s postankom na Grmadi ter ogled Muzeja na odprtem s svojimi
zanimivimi avstro-ogrskimi utrdbami. Le nekaj kilometrov od muzeja si je mogoče ogledati avstroogrsko pokopališče pri Nabrežini. Degustacija tipičnih kraških proizvodov v agriturizmu. Nočitev v
hotelu. Odhod proti Ljubljani z vmesnim postankom za ogled Postojnskih jam. Kosilo v restavraciji.
Prihod v Ljubljano je predviden popoldne. Sprehod po mestu. Namestitev v hotelu ter degustacijska
večerja v restavraciji.
TRIESTE, LA GRANDE GUERRA, LUBIANA E POSTUMIA
Il soggiorno inizia a Trieste, con una passeggiata libera in citta, per scoprire i suoi tesori artistici ed i
suoi caffe storici. Sosta in locale storico del centro per degustare un ottimo caffe. Cena con specialita
triestine e pernottamento in albergo. La mattina successiva visita al Museo del Risorgimento e
Sacrario di Guglielmo Oberdan. Si prosegue verso Redipuglia, passando per la strada dov’e collocato
il monumento bronzeo “lupi di Toscana” dedicato alla Brigata Toscana. Pranzo in ristorante o
agriturismo. Si rientra verso Trieste con una sosta al Monte Ermada, e visita al Museo all’aperto con
le sue affascinanti fortificazioni austro-ungariche. A pochi chilometri dal Museo e possibile visitare
il cimitero austro-ungarico di Aurisina. Degustazione di prodotti tipici del Carso in agriturismo.
Pernottamento in albergo. Partenza per Lubiana con visita lungo il percorso delle magnifiche Grotte
di Postumia e pranzo in ristorante. Continuazione ed arrivo nel pomeriggio a Lubiana e prima
passeggiata in citta. Sistemazione in albergo e cena- degustazione in ristorante.
