Adventurer Camp is all about trying new things and learning to work as a team. That’s why we have structured Adventurer Camp different from all the others. Every day, campers will rotate with their cabins through all four adventure-packed areas of camp, which include Land, Water, Craft, and Nature activities; all the while experiencing new things and bonding with their cabin mates and head counselor. Below is a description of each area. Land: Improve your horseback riding skills, conquer the climbing wall, practice leadership and cooperation at the low ropes course, and more. Water: Master paddling a canoe, become a stronger swimmer, cruise on skis or a wakeboard, and more. Craft: A different craft will be available every day! Create something, stretch your imagination, take something home for someone you love, and more. Bible Class: New this year!! We will be offering a Bible Class under the craft section. The class will be taught by the Camp Pastor for the week and tag-teamed by the Camp Evangelist. Campers will learn creative ways to study the Bible. 2 You will need to choose one class in each of the four categories. Whether this is your first time or 10th time to come to camp, here’s a little advice to help make this summer the best ever: 1. Being a friend is the best way to make a friend. 2. Friends are thoughtful, cheerful, kind and would never intentionally hurt anyone. 3. Bulling is rude, unkind, hurtful, and selfish; it is not acceptable at Camp Au Sable. If you see it, help to end it. 4. Show respect to everyone! 5. Conquer your fear and try something new. 6. Invite a friend to join you. The Seventh-day Adventist Church started Camp Au Sable in 1948 to show the love of God to kids of all ages, race, size, shape and offers’ programming that promotes Bible values in a safe and friendly environment. Join the thousands of youth that have made Camp Au Sable their summer tradition!
