block design helps reduce distortion, squirm
and chunking under high torque loads for

Tubeless construction helps reduce risk of punctures, enables
a) easier mounting with no need for screws, b) more reliable
performance and c) lower running costs.
Proprietary drag-racing tread design and
tread compound allow racers to extract
more peak performance during launch for
quicker, more consistent ¼-mile times.*
ETEC System™ (Equal TEnsion Containment
System) helps resist centrifugal force to help
maintain tread contact area for maximized
grip off the line and stability through the traps.
Two full-width steel belts help stiffen the
tread crown longitudinally and laterally
to minimize distortion under acceleration
and help resist punctures.
Special radial-carcass construction
helps provide high-speed stability and control.
Increased compatibility with radial tires on
non-drive axle helps improve overall handling
and balance on and off the track. (Do not mix
radial and bias-ply tires.) Reduced internal stresses
enable longer treadlife compared to bias-ply tires.
