An Invitation

We are Creators. Every tangible thing starts with an idea. We witness
our creations as the out picturing of our thoughts, ideas, wishes
and hopes. And we can see which thoughts we have manifested
and those we have not. We are always creating, and the results we
experience are evidence of whether we are creating consciously or
unconsciously. Sometimes the results are sweet and we celebrate.
Other times, not so much, and we tend to complain and blame, as
if someone else did this to us. However, there is nothing outside of
us. To be clear, it is energy set in motion by none other than ‘I’, as
the author and creator of our lives.
What are we here on Earth to Create? When you look at the
current experience you are creating, is it 100% satisfying? Are you
expressing your most authentic, powerful, creative Self? Do you live
in a community, a world, that is peaceful and deeply connected to
each other and the earth?
If you answered no, the good news is that as the Author of your Life
you can create a new paradigm! A paradigm that declares this as a
New Time, a time when consciousness shifts from ‘Me to We’, a
time to step out of the box of mediocrity into expansive, exciting
potential and possibility. This happens when we access the power
of true, authentic choice and therein lies our freedom. When we
consciously come from the perspective “I get to” rather than “I have
to” we create from a powerful awareness and experience a wonderful
sense of liberation, exhilaration and amazing results!

What stops us from consciously creating the life and community we
wish to experience? We stop ourselves: with our own conversations
(internal and external), the rattle of a noisy, crafty ego, outdated
world-views and adopted beliefs that all run interference. The
voices of fear and doubt often emerge to run the show, saying,
“we can’t, we mustn’t, we shouldn’t”. Shouldn’t what? Step
into the power that comes from being Present and the power of
our Greatness? Embracing our Greatness, is that not one of
our greatest fears? How do we overcome the mental constructs that purport that
it is not okay to live as our authentic, powerful, creative selves?
There exists a deep knowing, the truth of our Being, that inspires
willingness, courageousness and inspired action. And yes, we can
access this deep knowing and experience this life to the fullest.
Tiospaye is a Lakota/Dakota worldview, a belief that we are
all relatives, and celebrates, through ceremony, “the making of
relatives”. Through this profound understanding and experience
of interconnectedness, the People of Earth were once adept at
communicating with the winged, the four legged and the creepy
crawlers and had such a profound understanding of the elements,
that even the weather could be divined.
More than a worldview, Tiospaye is also a Durango-based non-profit
organization that envisions a peaceful, prosperous, sustainable,
interconnected community. A community of authentic, powerful,
creative individuals that share a vision of a collaborative world that
works for everyone. By engaging in transformational work, through
discovery, diving deep and daily practice, it is possible to access
deep knowing and live life authentically, while cultivating this
shared vision.

The discovery process serves as the initiation. Once we discern our
