Wow! What a winter we had this year. The rain, sleet or snow didn’t keep us away from the Nashville
Needlework Market in February. We came home with lots of goodies to get you out of the winter blues and fast
forward you into spring. Your favorite designers have proven themselves again by giving you a wide variety of fun
and light hearted patterns, as well as, some very beautiful and elegant samplers. We also brought back some limited
edition kits and patterns you may want to start on now or just add them to your stash.
Now that spring is here, it is time to finish up with what you are working on or pull out something from the
finished stack of projects and come in and take advantage of the Spring Framing Special (April 3 - April 20, 2010).

In Loving Memory of Kris Stott
Kris Stott, along with her husband Dave, was the owner of Norden Crafts.
She passed away very suddenly in March 2009. She was a tremendous influence in
the needlework industry and was the heart and soul of Norden Crafts.
Kris’s family wanted to do something to honor her memory, so they invited
designers to be a part of a memorial sampler in her honor. Each designer was to submit a 3” x 3” motif that focused on something that Kris held dear such as; flowers,
quilts, hearts, cooking, animals...etc. Sixty nine designs were received. It was decided to group them together by theme and make 7 different leaflets. The first one,
From the Heart, is available now for $7.00.
The sale of these charts will be donated to several different Animal Protection Organizations around the country. Norden Crafts will not profit from the sale of
these charts.
