Sovereign Grace
Groundbreaking
IMC Construction along with the entire congregation of Sovereign Grace Church, broke
ground for their new house of worship in Marlton, NJ. Sovereign Grace Church is a new
ground up 32,000SF church, school and site
work infrastructure inclusive of stormwater,
water, sanitary and electric utilities, parking
and pavers and site concrete on an existing
evergreen tree farm. The project includes the
relocation of 200+ trees to support the landscaping needs of the church. Included within
the building is a Sanctuary, Gathering Areas,
Classrooms, Childcare, Book Shop, Kitchen,
and support spaces. Sovereign Grace’s facility will utilize an underground thermal storage
system. Taking advantage of off-peak electrical
rates, the system will manufacture ice during the
evening. This stored ice will be used to cool the
building during the day. The project is scheduled
for occupancy early 2010.

A team from IMC recently volunteered their time and experience to the nonprofit
organization Rebuilding Together Philadelphia (RTP). RTP provides essential
home repairs, energy efficiency and modifications to help low-income home
owners in the Philadelphia area. In conjunction with a grant from HGTV, RTP had
the IMC crew gut and drywall a room in a property owned by the PA American
Legion Housing for the Homeless Veteran Corp. The home renovation, which
used all volunteer labor was filmed for a HGTV special called “Change the
World: American Heroes” and is scheduled to air on Veterans’ Day (11/11/09).
