this week. Police believe the calls have
originated overseas and are designed
to cause disruption and alarm.
Should such a threat be received at
our school, we have a critical incident
management procedure which would be
implemented immediately. The safety
of students and staff is always our first
priority. Dependent on the nature of the
threat, students are either evacuated
from buildings to safe areas (which is
generally the procedure that would be
followed in the event of a bomb threat)
or the school is placed into lockdown (in
the case of the threat of an intrusion).

In order for San Sisto College staff to
adequately communicate and provide
an efficient service and response to the
wider community, it is imperative that
the correct procedures are followed.
The School Coordinator of the relevant
school is the first point of contact for
parents who would like to discuss
any queries relating to the health and
wellbeing of their daughter.
For any
curriculum issues, please contact the
Year 8 to year 7. In 2016, all Year 7 and
Year 8 students are being offered free
vaccinations, as recommended on the
National Immunisation Program, against
Human
Papillomavirus,
diphtheria,
tetanus, pertussis (whoopping cough)
and varicella (chickenpox). From 2017
onwards, only Year 7 students will be
offered vaccination under the program.
San Sisto College Year 7 and 8 students
will have their vaccinations on Tuesday
16 February 2016.
