Copy Grabber – You’ll no longer be forced to delete columns one line at a time. To use, drag a
marquee around the page area you want to change. When you release the mouse, a dialog box
appears allowing you to cut or copy all the text within the selected area. Click the desired buttons,
or use the Copy Grabber shortcut keys to complete your selection.
Tab Grabber – Allows you to select and modify tab settings without the need to edit QuarkXPress
style sheets or change tab settings one at a time. Select the Tab Grabber tool and drag a marquee
around the page area you wish to modify. When you release the mouse, the Tab Grabber dialog
appears allowing you to change any tab feature you wish. Use the nudge arrows to move the tabs
around, or change the tab alignment or fill character. Select the Apply button to preview your
changes, and click OK when you are satisfied with the result. The Tab Grabber XTension will even
work across multiple text boxes, making it the ideal tool for those last-minute changes.
Text Grabber – Normally, you would have to select and change the attributes separately for each
and every line. Not any longer. Once your marquee is drawn, a dialog box will appear, allowing
you to change any character attribute, including font, size, colour, even the track amount, scale or
baseline shift. The changes you make will be applied to all text within the marqueed area.

version documents within lower versions of
QuarkXPress. The Salvage Module allows you
to salvage and open badly damaged documents which QuarkXPress is unable to open
due to errors such as “Bad File Format”,
“Out of Memory”, “End of File” etc.. The
Verification Module allows you to verify saved
documents so you can immediately know
when the integrity of your document file is

first save a temporary copy of your document

Alerts for overflowing text
With this XTension, you can check QuarkXPress
documents for textoverflow. The XTension
alerts you during open, save, printing, save as
EPS or collect for output. It also shows how
many text boxes in a document have overset
and allows the user to navigate through the
document with arrows and find all respective
boxes. If the text is edited the displayed overset is updated automatically, so that it is easy
to adjust the text amount to the size of the
box. It is also possible to receive a warning
prior to printing if overset is present.

This XTension is a must for
every person dealing with tables, calendars, ads, and other complex layout activities. Using template

MarkzScout offers native document
checking and routing of failed or passed
files based on user-definable custom
rules. MarkzScout examines job elements
in native documents and separates the
files appropriately within any prepress
workflow system such as Scitex Brisque
and Agfa Apogee. Built into MarkzScout
is technology that will process documents created from QuarkXPress, PageMaker, FreeHand, Illustrator,
Corel Draw, FrameMaker Multi-Ad Creator, EPS, TIFF and JPEG, etc.
MarkzScout can be controlled by user definable rules for extremely
quick preflighting decisions and a more efficient workflow.
MarkzScout comes preconfigured with an extensive set of over 300
ready-to-use rules to check for prepress errors, such as: use of RGB
colours, missing fonts and incorrect image resolutions. Specific custom rules can also be easily created based on SimpleText scripting
allowing the number of possible rules to be limitless.
MATHTYPE
Professional version of the Equation Editor found in
Microsoft Word
Equations are created in a separate window with buttons for
selecting the type of equation. Once an equation is finished, simply paste it into your document. Works with most applications.
Add powerful commands to Microsoft Word menus - MathType adds commands to Word’s
menus to create a tight interface between the two applications. Add a MathType Equation
icon to the Word tool bar for quick access. Change fonts, styles, sizes, and spacing for all
equations in a document or selection; Set MathType preferences (font, style, size, spacing) for
a Word Template. MathType will automatically use those preference settings whenever you
choose that template. There are many numbering formats from which to choose. If you later
insert new equations in the middle of your document, a single command renumbers all equations to keep them in order; and Insert references to equations
anywhere in the document. Double-clicking on a reference scrolls a document to the equation
to which is refers.
MathType is compatible with all your software. You can put equations into your graphs, slides,
brochures, and any other document you want. MathType lets you save equations as EPS files giving you the ability to transfer equations from Macintosh to Windows and vice versa.
