TFAE Celebrates Excellence 2016 will honor the Distinguished Scholars from each of our
local public high schools, Terrebonne Career and Technical High School and Bayou Cane
Adult Education Center.
The selection committee chose the Distinguished Scholars from nominations submitted by
their school administrators. Each Distinguished Scholar will select a public school educator who has had the greatest impact on his or her life to be recognized as her/his Inspirational Educator.
The Distinguished Scholars and their Inspirational Educators, the James J. Buquet, Jr.
Award of Distinction recipient, and the TPSD 2015-2016 & 2016-2017 Teachers of the Year
will be honored at the dinner on February 25, 2016 at the Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center.
