CARIMA was founded in 1982 to produce lubricants for electric cables.
And thus Giordano Pipani created GLISS®, exploiting 20 years of technical experience with rubber and
PVC insulation for electric cables.
GLISS® was specially designed for the laying and removal of electric cables in civil works.
After the first positive lab tests and the continuing success of GLISS® on the market over the years, the need
arose for a new product that could satisfy the requests of industrial plant suppliers.
Then, the installation of fiber optics started to spread. Consequently, GLISS® F has been a part of the
kilometers of fiber optics laid throughout Europe since 1990.

GLISS® F because of its consistency, fluidity and very low level of evaporation
is recommended for the laying of cables in plastic piping, even for lengths
measuring several Km without breaks (uninterrupted lengths of up to 6,000 m
have been laid). Technical documentation is available on the laying of optical
fiber cables

BIOSOL 95 is a natural, biodegradable
solvent extracted from orange peel.
BIOSOL 95 is a solvent used to remove
(petrol jellie) gel from telephone cables
in both copper and optical fibre, grease
and soil from mechanical, electric and
electronic parts.
BIOSOL 95 is used in place of
trichloroethane considered
hazardous for health. It can be
used in place of fluorated
solvents to clean electronic
circuits.
