Vishnu temple will be celebrating Sri Meenakshi Sundareshwara Kalyanotsavam following the
tradition of the annual Chittirai festival at Madurai Meenakshi Temple. At Madurai Temple, the festival
begins on the Shukla Panchami day of the Tamil month Chittirai. The eighth day of the festival witnesses the
coronation of Goddess Meenakshi,

Grand Sponsorship: Sponsor all day events. Grand Sponsors are entitled to Weekly
Abhishekam of Goddess Parvathi (every Friday) for one year.
Sponsor a Parking Space (All Grand Sponsorship benefits and donor or donor’s family names
will be written on plaques determined by HCCC management).
Sponsor a Room (All Grand Sponsorship benefits and donations will be accepted from 10
donors of $10,000 each for each room in Administration building and Kitchen Complex, with
donor or donor’s family names will be written on plaques determined by HCCC management.
Donors of $10,000 or above in a calendar year are eligible for HCCC Steering Committee
Membership, as per By-laws. All donors are eligible for donor recognition according to
Temple’s Donor Recognition Policy)

*Continuing with the tradition established at the Shiva - Vishnu Temple, devotees will have an
opportunity to sponsor for Vastra Samarpanam to the Goddess Parvathi between Saturday April 5th, 2014
and Monday April 14th, 2014. Abhishekam and Vastra Samarpanam will be done on a daily basis starting
from Saturday April 5th, 2014 – Monday April 14th, 2014, followed by Sri Meenakshi Sundareshwara
Kalyanam on April 19, 2014.
The Temple will provide vastra's (Kanchivaram Pure Silk Saris) for a sponsorship. Sponsors will not be
able to preview or select the vastra's until adorned. Saris in stock will be randomly numbered in a
sequence. Upon paying the sponsorship amount, the first available number in the sequence will be
assigned to the sponsored. The sponsor needs to let the Temple Manager know as to what date the
vastra's have to be adorned on the deity. Sponsors may collect the vastra's back on April 28th itself after
the Kalyanotsavam, or schedule with the Temple Manager to collect at a later date.
Please note: On each of the Abhishekam days (Saturday April 5th, 2014 – Monday April 14th, 2014) only four
Vastra Samarpanam sponsorships will be accepted. Please call and sponsor at your earliest convenience
as limited sponsorships are available.
