FAILURE formed in Los Angeles in the early 90s, releasing their 1992 debut album ‘Comfort’ via Slash Records. ‘Magnified’ followed in the
spring of 1994 with the band’s final offering, ‘Fantastic Planet’ coming out in 1996.
“Thematically we’ve moved from the outer space of ‘Fantastic Planet’ to inner space”, said guitar/bass player Greg Edwards of FAILURE’s
new album, the band’s first full-length since 1996, ‘The Heart Is A Monster’. “From the dislocation of one’s identity to the complete erasing
of it by sleep and dreams. I think we’ve used instrumentation in the service of mood and emotion to an even greater degree than on our
previous records”.
The band returned from a 17-year hiatus in early 2014 with a single Los Angeles date planned. The show sold out in seconds, which led
to a North American tour, including a run of dates with Tool and then eventually back to the studio. “We wanted to come back as a full
functioning musical force and creatively pick up where we left off with ‘Fantastic Planet’. That meant we needed to start experimenting in
the studio first, which we did in late 2013. After a few months, we came to the conclusion that we were having a good time and that we
liked the results, and that we thought the results were definitely FAILURE. We’ve been chipping away at a new album this whole time.”

Established in 1995 as a sub-label to our infamous Loaded Records, Skint quickly became a major player in the independent music scene,
releasing a massive range of underground classics and chart hitting anthems.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the label we’ve delved into the archives and plucked out our finest moments as well as pulling in new
armoury that continues the tale of big beats. CD 1 delves through some of the stand-out releases like LO-FIDELITY ALLSTARS during the

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of MILLION DEAD’s 2nd album ‘Harmony No Harmony’, Xtra Mile Recordings have
pressed this album on gate-fold double transparent yellow coloured vinyl for the first time.
MILLION DEAD were Frank Turner (vocals), Ben Dawson (drums), Tom Fowler (guitar) and Julia Ruzicka (bass). With
their ferocity and vocalist Frank ‘s incredible, learned lyricism, the band was hypnotic and left a stream of devotees
and trashed stages in their wake. From 2001 – 2005, this band meant everything to a small band of followers, and their
hardcore-inspired racket will always be said to have been terminated too soon.

‘Party Adjacent’ is the second full-length solo album from Alkaline Trio’s Dan Andriano, performing under the name DAN
ANDRIANO IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM.
“THE EMERGENCY ROOM started as something for me to do with songs I had been writing that didn’t seem to have a
place on Alkaline Trio records,” explains ANDRIANO. Started when he found himself living in Florida, he released his
debut full-length ‘Hurricane Season’ in 2011 and toured troubadour-style around the release with just an acoustic guitar
on the US and European legs of the Revival Tour.
‘Party Adjacent’ marks the beginning of a new chapter to the DAN ANDRIANO IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM story.
Produced by Jeff Rosenstock (formerly of Bomb the Music Industry, The Smith Street Band producer), ANDRIANO
is joined by a backing band of Jeff, Kevin Higuchi of The Jeff Rosenstock Band and Mike Huguenor of Hard Girls to
fantastic effect. With influences ranging from Thin Lizzy to Elvis Costello to Billy Bragg, ‘Party Adjacent’ is obviously one
of those rare records that is built by an artist’s singular vision and augmented by exactly the right collaborative team.
