Darren Hart, better known as HARTS, is a musician, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer and music producer
from Melbourne. Often labeled as “A one man music making machine”, he writes everything, plays all the instruments,
records and produces all his music single handedly in his bedroom studio.
Spending the past few years developing his sound, HARTS has become known for his Jimi Hendrix-like guitar playing and
unique blend of Funk, Pop, Rock and Soul music, which has earned him praise worldwide. Most notably from iconic music
legend Prince, who flew HARTS out to his Paisley Park Studios in Minneapolis, USA to meet and play with him last year
saying, “He reminds me of how I was at that age”.
After returning, HARTS’ independently released his 10 track debut album ‘Daydreamer’ in September 2014. The album
quickly gained positive coverage in many music publications such as Rolling Stone Magazine, NME, The Guardian, Herald
Sun, Sydney Morning Herald, Vogue Magazine and many more.The lead single from the album, ‘Red & Blue’ was an
alternative radio hit in Australia, landing a spot on Triple J’s Hit List and many Independent and Alternative radio playlists
around the country.
Following the success of the album, HARTS’ two latest singles ‘When A Man’s A Fool’ and ‘Breakthrough’ we’re both
Alternative Radio hits in Australia, making it to their week’s #1 most played tracks on Triple J & Alternative Radio. The two
singles will feature on a brand new EP to be released in June 2015, followed by a 19 date Australian and New Zealand tour
where accompanied only by a drummer, HARTS recreates the songs live - juggling between shredding guitar, laying down
keyboard, bass and vocals with a loop machine and sequencer.
Those dates will add to the already impressive number of shows HARTS has clocked up in 2015, from his own headline gigs
to rocking the stage at The Hills Are Alive, and wowing an audience of 10,000 opening for Rod Stewart.
HARTS also recently took on Triple J Like A Version, performing an impressive cover of Daniel Johns’ ‘Aerial Love’, and is also
gearing up to play at this year’s Groovin The Moo Festival in Bendigo.
The new EP, quite appropriately titled ‘Breakthrough’, will be released on June 5 2015.

‘Grievances’ was recorded and mixed by Lewis Johns (Funeral For A Friend, Gnarwolves, Your Demise, Palm Reader) and is
the band’s 4th studio album.
Having first worked with Holy Roar from the start of the label in 2006, it has been a joy to watch one of the most inventive
bands in the UK grow and grow - taking on world tours, recording an album with Diplo and much, much more besides.
With both band and label going from creative strength-to-strength, now feels like the perfect time to re-establish a new,
improved, alliance.

“At 10 years in I feel more enthused than ever with where we’re at as a band,” says frontwoman Eva Spence. “With

EMPLOYED TO SERVE’s trajectory to date has been explosive. Two bedroom-crafted EPs (released by Jay Randall
from Agoraphobic Nosebleed on Grindcore Karaoke) preceded last year’s full-band EP, ‘Change Nothing Regret

‘Control’ is a collection of brooding, expertly-crafted alternative pop songs, from an artist and producer who has
already earned fans as diverse as London Grammar to Childish Gambino (and over 3 million Soundcloud plays to
boot). For 24-year-old Paul Dixon a.k.a. FYFE, it’s a record which may have started as an exercise in tightening one’s
grip on life, but is effectively about release, and learning that control itself is a fallacy.
Written and entirely self-produced by FYFE, ‘Control’ feels as inspired by the 90s hip-hop beats which characterised
Dixon’s childhood as the delicate pop of The XX, via the swelling orchestral arrangements of Bjork’s ‘Volta’: all held

Ulster born singer songwriter and gramophone impresario DUKE SPECIAL returns with ‘Look Out Machines!’, a

from an artist back at the very top of his game.
‘Look Out Machines!’ sees DUKE SPECIAL exploring new musical ground with collaborators including Iain Archer,
Phil Wilkinson and Gary Clark and heralds the return of an artist back at the very top of his game; a major difference
between his recent output and this album is that, for the most part, DUKE SPECIAL has placed himself in the
first-person with these songs. The obvious result is a more personal album. Yet as vulnerable as he may be, the

SLABDRAGGER can, and will, stand toe-to-toe with Torche, YOB, Floor, Sleep and Electric Wizard. Big words for a largely unknown
band from South London. But we genuinely feel that we have an undiscovered gem on our hands with SLABDRAGGER – they are
that good.
Two years in the making, and ridiculously fully-formed and fully-realised, SLABDRAGGER not only sing about epic quests to Nepal
to find killer weed, rubbish Roman Centurions, battling huge Octopian creatures and drinking rum, but they also feature the one and
only Sam Thredder.
If ever there was a wizard whose praises were unsung – Sam Thredder is the man. Having played in countless bands for almost 15
years (despite being only 28) and having recorded over 100 bands (reading like a ‘whose who’ of UK hardcore – Dead Swans, More
Than Life, Last Witness, Hang The Bastard, Prowler, Throats, Dirty Money, Deal With It, Nervous Wreck, TRC, The Legacy….) – the man
is a living legend. If ever there was a dude qualified to bring us a fucking great record, then it could well be him….
As the band’s UK label convince us: “We won’t lie, the band have barely played outside of London (albeit playing with Hang The
Bastard, Dopefight, Astrohenge and Void…), but take a punt with Holy Roar on this one…..this band deserves to be heard across
