Leisure time for lunch
Unique behind-the-scenes tour of a WINDMILL FARM
Learn about renewable energy and the challenges faced in the early days
of wind farming.
Return to Palm Springs for an evening at leisure to browse along Palm Canyon Drive.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 28

8:30 AM Depart the resort.
9:00 AM Ride the PALM SPRINGS AERIAL TRAM up Mount San Jacinto.
Enjoy the views and cool mountain air, walk on a trail,
explore the visitor center.
11:00 AM Descend via tram and return to Palm Springs for a leisurely lunch.
1:00 PM Arrive at the PALM SPRINGS AIR MUSEUM for a guided tour including
information about training at the Salton Sea for desert warfare during
World War II.
2:30 PM Special exhibition of flight with one of the museum’s planes
3:30 PM Return to the resort.
6:00 PM Farewell Dinner
