The Riviera Resort Hotel, Palm Springs, CA Thursday Night Mixer/Dance Bobby Zee’s Band played for the PTOD 2010 New Years Event. He is a composer, performer, arranger, producer, and an accomplished musician on several instruments including piano and guitar. His smooth, romantic jazz style appeals to all of the people in love or hoping to fall in love, while his dance music will get you aroused and Dancing. The Follies Friday Matinee, The Fabulous Palm Springs Follies — a world famous, Broadway caliber celebration of the music, dance, and comedy of the 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s with a cast old enough to have lived it! Venerated guest star John Davidson as the Celebrity, and international vaudeville acts, join the Follies’ world renowned line of Long Legged Lovelies and Follies Gentlemen. Friday & Saturday Night Cocktails with Joel Baker at the Piano Joel studied piano and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University Of Washington’s School Of Music. Joel keeps a busy schedule as an entertainer and music director for several artists and organizations throughout Coachella Valley. He lives with his partner Don in Palm Springs. Friday Night Dinner with Entertainment Watch for the announcement of the exciting entertainment, still under negotiation, for the Friday Night Banquet. The choices are narrowing. Whichever of the finalist wins the event, you will certainly be in for a wonderful evening entertainment. Saturday Night Grand Banquet Dinner with Entertainment Based in Palm Springs, California, Live It Up Productions brings quality Broadway style theatrical entertainment to the Convention. Guaranteed to be an event talked about and remembered. One of a kind musical arrangements and medleys mixed together with Broadway caliber staging and choreography. You won’t want to miss this Night! Sunday Breakfast Followed by the Pride Parade Sunday in Palm Springs is a chance to see and participate in our Pride Parade. We won’t claim to be the largest parade in the world, but it is always one of the best. Leading our group in the parade will be the founder of our Organization, Woody Baldwin, and Ralph Sheplow, who founded our local chapter in 1992. Other Activities Bridge schedules and golf schedules will be posted on the Convention notice board. Volunteers will be available to assist choosing among the innumerable activities being organized by our local gay organizations. There will be so many activities available you won’t be able to attend them all. Shuttles will be available to many of the areas gay bars and casinos. See reverse side for details and information on registration. The Riviera Resort Hotel and Pool are stunning. The weather should be absolutely perfect for some sun and fun. Weather averages 780 F day and 500 F nights. Shirt availability ends October 20, 2011. The Pride Parade — Sunday November 6th — 7:00 am - 9:00 am Staging and Parade starts at 10:00 am. We hope to be positioned at the start of the Parade so the wait will be lessened. Our planning committee hopes to have a large flat bed truck/float with seating capacity for those who prefer not to walk. Details to follow. Prime Timers members are encouraged to attend the full Convention. If you want to register only for individual items our registration form will allow that. The Thursday Mixer/Dance is available as pay at the door. All other events MUST pre-register by October 20, 2011.
