March 27 - Holy Rosary Glenwood
Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church Easter Sunday of the Resurrection of the Lord March 27, 2016 Fr. Dan Siepker - After hours (712) 527-9115 Email: [email protected] Rev. Mr. Ron Kohn (712) 527-4032 Cathy Evans, Parish Secretary Jane Buckley, Bookkeeper Theresa Romens, Faith Formation Janet Lunning, Montessori Pre-School Ali Crawley, Custodian Anne Smith & Sharon Osterholm, Music Coordinators 24116 Marian Avenue Glenwood, IA 51534 Church Office Phone 712-527-5211 FAX 712-527-3829 E-mail [email protected] Bulletins online: www.holyrosaryglenwood.com Daily Eucharistic Adoration - 5 am - 12 midnight Parish Mission Statement: "To come to Christ and lead others to Christ" PASTORAL REFLECTION The TV show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation would find little evidence in John's account of the Resurrection: a stone rolled away, an empty tomb, burial cloths, and a head covering in a separate place. Yet, such is the evidence that made Mary of Magdala, Simon Peter, and the disciple whom Jesus loved believe that Jesus was raised from the dead. Our witness stories can seem just as sparse: hope in the face of despair, acceptance of a terminal illness, unexpected forgiveness, or...fill in the blank. How has God raised you when death and darkness seemed stronger? Mark your Calendars for April 3! We will be having a parish potluck to welcome all newcomers that have moved into the parish during this last year, all who entered the Church at the Easter Vigil and any families with new babies. Potluck will begin at 5:00 pm. You are asked to bring a meat dish, a salad or a desert. Drinks and table service provided. Please come and welcome all who are new to our parish.
