Country Travel were featured on pages 30 - 33. The article
describes their office in the old bank building on the corner of
Wisconsin and Oakton Avenue, artifacts from their travels around
the world and interesting facts about their personal lives. There's
also a great picture of the two of them standing in front of the
Paris picture in their front lobby holding a globe. Check it out at
the Pewaukee Library - if you missed it! These two guys are
some of the nicest and friendliest entrepreneurs in our chamber
community. They often come to our lunches- so stop and say hi!

We recognize Jack Koepp, Century 21
as Founding Member of Pewaukee Chamber of
Commerce
Century 21 - Koepp Realty, on the downtown corner at 104 W.
Wisconsin Avenue has been a Pewaukee Chamber of Commerce
Member since 1947, the year the chamber was founded.
Intrigued by this I discovered that Jack Koepp, aka Henry Koepp
has been a real estate appraiser for over 50 years and he stopped
by our office last month to share a few words of wisdom. Here
they are:
Jack Koepp
Century 21 - Koepp Realty
1. Give your business "your
all".
2. Be good to people.
3. Give people the best service available.
And it must work for Jack, since he's celebrating
his 87th birthday this year. He said "good genes"
also play a role. Last December the Greater
Milwaukee Association of Realtors recognized
Jack for his achievement in the industry and he
was awarded a plaque with the designation of
"Realtor Emeritus". Congratulations Jack and
we are proud to have you on board as a founding
Chamber Member.

Networking is Key to Business Growth by
*Lauren Wysocki
Despite a struggling economy, Nelson Automotive, LLC, a
new business of Pewaukee, continues to thrive, expanding
their services to help more customers. Their secret
ingredient: networking. Both Jim and Cindy Nelson agree
that networking alone has increased their business and has
been critical to their success. The Nelsons have hosted a
Biz After 4, attend many of our evening networking events,
and are frequent raffle sponsors and prize donors. The
Nelsons are sponsoring the Appetizers for the Tri-Chamber
Golf Outing and will be attending the dinner in the
evening.
As a member of four chambers, Jim
and Cindy are constantly meeting
new people. Jim states that
networking through the chamber
has tripled their business. Not only
is it useful to meet people at
chamber events, but many new
Jim and Cindy Nelson customers are referred by other
Nelson Automotive, LLC chamber members. Overall,
networking through the chamber
has caused Nelson Automotive, LLC to truly flourish.
An additional aspect of networking that Nelson
Automotive, LLC uses is the Internet, including an
assortment of social networking sites. Cindy updates their
Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Foursquare sites daily in
order to keep in contact with customers. She uses these
websites to publish information, give discounts, advertise,
and post events. Cindy affirms that it is important to
remain in contact with people all week prior to meeting
them at an event. Furthermore, it is essential to stay in
touch with these people afterwards as well.
Networking through the chamber and through the internet
has provided many opportunities for Nelson Automotive,
LLC to expand their busienss. Finally, Jim testifies, "If you
are looking to grow your business, the resources of
meeting other people are fantastic."
*Lauren Wysocki, daughter of Sandy Wysocki, Business Journal
Chamber Member, is a Pewaukee High School student who is
serving an internship with the Pewaukee Chamber of Commerce
her senior semester and interviewed the Nelsons and wrote this
article.
