Accomplishments
A team award – a unique time for AAESQ. This team planned, initiated
and maintained an anti-bullying program that increased emphasis on
accountability from students, to parents, to staff and administration from
2010 to the present.
The combined schools of Hadley Junior and Philomen Wright High
Schools were 2 years ahead of many provincial schools in light of antibullying programming and Bill 56.
Both schools were the subjects of a CBC television news documentary,
which put the leadership of the team to the test of public scrutiny in the
broader national context.
NHK a Japanese Public Television Network would like to examine
anti-bullying revision in Canada and in particular our 2 schools and
their programs.
