WHITEHOUSE — It’s been 10
months, but Medina’s boys soccer team finally got revenge
against Anthony Wayne.
Facing the team the denied
them a state semifinal bid last
season, the Bees overcame a
one-goal deficit to beat the Generals 2-1 Saturday afternoon in a
non-conference tilt.
Recent varsity call-up Josh
Aliff continued his impact, as
the junior netted both secondhalf scores for Medina (8-1). The
first was off a feed from Nick
Manoff and the game-winner
was off a pass from Brad Fogel
with 12:30 remaining.
Junior goalkeeper TylerVogrin
(1 save) picked up the win in
goal.
Freshman midfielder Andy
Prostor scored the game-winner
to lift the Bees junior varsity “A”
to a 1-0 win. Tyler Glasenapp
picked up the clean sheet.
A pair of goals from Max
Schaefer helped the Medina JV
“B” to a 3-1 win. Ethan Fritz had
the other score.

one as the Blue Devils blanked the
Knights in non-league action. Junior

tacked on two scores of his own to
put the game out of reach.
