It doesn’t matter how a student is; if they know manuscript writing, they should also know cursive writing. How else can students read important documents in their original cursive format (such as the Declaration of Independence- so vital to our country’s beginnings!). Studies show that when students have good handwriting, they have improved memory retention, improved creativity and improved focus! Who doesn’t want that?! Macauley, C. Students learn cursive writing with letter families that build on one another. This course uses the modified American style of cursive writing, but uses its own unique process to teach cursive easily and in a fun way. Students practice their cursive writing with Bible verses and even turn their penmanship into gifts of love for others at the end of the semester. $130/$10 This class introduces students to fundamental tools of art and design through movement.
