Camp Shiai on July 12th, 2015:
We will be hosting a camp shiai for competitors and for judges who wish to hone their skills
accordingly. Participation is voluntary for competitors, but mandatory for all certified judges.
Competitors will be split into two teams (red v. white).
All kata matches will be flag elimination; kata options will be adjusted to the lower-rank
competitor per match (i.e. the kata option for a match between a 9th kyu and a 1st kyu competitor
would only be Heian Shodan; kata options for two Shodan competitors is all Sentei katas).
All kumite matches types will be adjusted to the lower-rank competitor per match (i.e. the kumite
option for a match between a 9th kyu and a 1st kyu competitor would only be Kihon Ippon
Kumite; the kumite option for two Shodan competitors would be Shobu Ippon Kumite). All
kumite competitors must bring a mouth guard and ISKF-sanctioned sparring gloves.
