Bones Society of Florida
2013 Annual Conference
September 20 - 22, 2013
Hyatt Regency Coconut Point | Bonita Springs, Florida
The BSOF is Trending!
On behalf of the leadership of the Bones Society of Florida, I
would like to extend a very special invitation to all of my colleagues
to join us for this year’s BSOF Annual Conference. The Program
Committee has put together an excellent agenda, combining
stimulating educational content that will benefit us all and a mix of
social and networking opportunities that are certain to rejuvenate
the soul.
This year’s theme is a bit unique and very trendy. Taking
advantage of the rebirth of American thrift stores and antiquing,
the Bones Society is paying tribute to our treasures of yesteryear.
We are encouraging the vendors to join us by setting up their own swap shops in their exhibit
booths. Our Signature Event will include a Thrift Shop-themed dinner party, costume competition,
and dance off! We invite our members to come prepared in their tackiest consignment shop
outfits or pick through the racks of clothes displayed throughout the exhibit hall to finalize your
evening attire. At the end of the meeting we will ask all attendees and vendors to turn in your
unwanted clothes for delivery to a local charity.
So clean out those closets and enjoy an evening of good fun, great costumes and questionable
dance moves.
As always, thank you for the opportunity to serve our profession. Please join me in sharing our
sincere appreciation for the hard work of the Program Committee in crafting such a world class
agenda. We look forward to seeing you in Bonita Springs.
Sincerely,
M. Robin Fox

We’ll all look incredible at this year’s signature event!
Your task is to get tacky. Grab all those clothes you
have been meaning to donate. Mix and Match. It
doesn’t matter. Or simply shop in our exhibit hall
thrift shop throughout the conference. However
you manage, just come prepared for a fun evening
of interactive games, competitions, entertainment,
dinner, and refreshments. There will be a costume
competition for best outfit. Extra points awarded for
fur fox skin, Velour jumpsuits, and built in onesies. The
event is open for all meeting attendees, exhibitors,
and their guests. Tickets are required to attend.
