flexible couplings
is to compensate for
misalignments. We
have a wide range
available to comply
with specifications
relating to vibration,
damping, torsional
stiffness and failsafe.

elastic couplings
is the damping of
vibrations. We
have a wide range
available to meet
specifications for elasticity, torsional
stiffness and failsafe.
Curved-tooth gear
couplings transmit
high torque in combination with small installation dimensions and
thereby absorb axial,
radial and angular
misalignment.
Precision couplings are
used to transfer torque
as accurately as possible while compensating minimal misalignment. Critical selection
factors are usually the
torsional stiffness and
the rotation speed.
These low-maintenance, high-strength
couplings are capable
of transmitting high
torque at high speed,
while compensating
misalignment. Distances can be bridged
by applying a spacer
available in different
kinds of material.
Rigid couplings are
used when flexibility
should be excluded.
The choice of type
and material determine
the assembly
and application possibilities.
Universal joints and
cardan shafts are
suitable for compensating angular misalignment up to 90 degrees.
Depending on the
bearings used and the
intensity of the application, higher speeds and
wider angles can be
worked with.
Radial shaft alignment
couplings are
torsionally rigid and
bridge variable
(extreme) parallel
distances in a very tight
axial space. By using
needle bearings,
one can achieve relatively high speeds.
A clutch enables
or disables torque
transmission. There are
solutions for static and
dynamic applications.
State-of-the-art material technology contains
thermal variance within
required limits.
Overload clutches
protect the motor and
the driven application
against excess
load. The disc technology allows absorption
of extremely high
peak loads.
The use of magnet
technology free torque
transmission
between the moving
components.
Magnetic couplings
are wear-resistant
and do not transmit
vibrations.
Grid couplings are torsionally flexible. The grid
will accommodate combinations of misalignments present at set-up
or occurring during
machine displacement,
settlement etc.
Starting couplings
allow the desired
connection speed and
torque to be achieved
to set in motion the
mass of the driven
side.
Clamping elements
and shrink discs are
used for power transmission without
using a keyway. Clamping elements are
available in different
models, allowing a
wide range of mounting options.
Freewheel clutches
transmit power in one
direction. As soon as
the rotation direction
changes, the clutch
disconnects. The clutch/
coupling can be used to
create an indexing movement as a complete
mechanical backstop or
as an overrunning clutch.
Brakes are applied to
control, stop and block
the mass. By applying
the latest technology,
the brakes are highly
suitable for demanding
applications such as
tension control, holding
brake and highly dynamic installations.
Collars are designed for
easy assembly and adjustment. Single component
collars lock around the
axis for an even distribution of clamping forces.
The dual component
collars offer the same
benefits as the single
component version, but
are easier to disassemble.
A linear actuator is an
actuator that creates motion in a straight line, in
contrast with the circular
motion of a conventional electric motor. Linear
actuators are used in
machine tools and
industrial machinery, in
all places where linear
motion is required.
Vee belts, also known as
V-belt or wedge rope,
solved the slippage and
alignment problem. They
are now the basic belt
for power transmission.
They provide the best
combination of traction,
speed, bearing load, and
long service life.
An electric motor
converts electrical
energy into mechanical
energy.
Reduction drives
enable an optimal
relationship between
power and space.

enables quick and easy
assembly of combinations of reduction
drives for many applications.
Spindles or thread
drives are used to
convert a rotational
movement to a longitudinal one. The opposite
is also possible: converting a longitudinal
movement to rotation.
