TIME AND METHOD OF IDENT1FICATlON.
Section 2.50 - Identification of animals. All live dogs and cats shall be identified with an official tag, tattoo, or microchip.
- Six puppies, in a pen are not identified and have been weaned, they need to be identified when they are weaned with an
individual identifying number. The number should be sequential and non repetitive. The puppies need to be identified in
order to be able to properly trace the animals movements. Correct by: The next litter weaned.
2.75 ( a )
RECORDS: DEALERS AND EXHIBITORS.
Section 2.75(a) - Records. Each licensee shall make, keep, and maintain records which fully and correctly disclose all
information regarding acquisition and disposition of each doglcat.
- 26 adult dogs were sold to individuals and 7006's were not filled out. The AKC records indicate the date of sale and the
name of the person who purchased the animals was available but the address was not available and on some of the forms,
the date of sale was not available. Records of disposition of dogs and cats should be filled out and kept at the facility for
APHIS officials to pick up, in order to properly track the animals through commerce. Correct by: next sale.
3.1 ( a )
HOUSING FACILITIES, GENERAL.
Section 3.l(a) - Structure/construction. Housing facilities for dogslcats must be designed, constructed, and maintained so
that the animals are secured and protected from injury.
- One female schipperkee and her pups were in an outside pen made of chain link, one of the puppies crawled through the
fence and into the next pen where the boxers were and they wallowed the puppy to death. The pens need to be set up so that
the puppies can't crawl out and be in danger. Correct by: 6/24/04
- The boxer pen has two fence panels that are leaning and could fall over and allow the dogs to get out and potentially get hurt
by the horses that are close by or be run over by cars on the road out front. The pen should be secured in order to safely hold
the animals. Correct by: 6/24/04

CLEANING, SANITIZATION, HOUSEKEEPING, AND PEST CONTROL,
Section 3.ll(c) - Housekeeping of premises for dogs and cats. Premises must be kept clean, in good repair, and
weeddgrasses controlled in order to facilitate the cleaning of the premises and to protect the health and well-being of the
animals.
- The grass in the pens is getting talt, to the point that it is almost as tall as the animals. The grass should be mowed in
order to reduce the incidents of pests, like ticks and fleas, and vermin from having hiding places which could cause harm to
the dogs in the pens. Correct by: 6/2/04
