WEDDING GROUP BENEFITS
COMPLIMENTARY NIGHTS FOR US RESIDENTS
The couple will receive one (1) complimentary room night for every ten (10) room nights paid up to a maximum of seven (7) room nights.*
*A surcharge of $10 per person, per night will apply for complimentary stays for taxes and gratuities. Complimentary nights are awarded
on room category booked up to Concierge Level/Deluxe Diamond.
Note: Complimentary nights will be refunded by the couple’s booking source. A 3 night minimum stay is required per reservation in order
to apply towards benefits.
COMPLIMENTARY PASSENGERS FOR CANADIAN RESIDENTS
The couple will receive one (1) complimentary passenger for every ten (10) passengers paid up to a maximum of three (3) complimentary
passengers per group.* (The 11th passenger will be complimentary.)
*A surcharge of $10 per passenger, per night will apply for complimentary stays for taxes and gratuities. Complimentary passengers are
awarded on room category booked up to Concierge Level/Deluxe Diamond.
Note: Complimentary nights will be refunded by the couple’s booking source. A 3 night minimum stay is required per reservation in order
to apply toward benefits.
UPGRADES
The couple will receive one (1) complimentary room upgrade to the next available room category (up to Concierge/Deluxe Diamond)
when booking 25 rooms or more.
Note: Subject to space and availability of the resort. If the couple have already booked a Concierge Level/Deluxe Diamond room or higher,
then they will have the option to pass the “upgrade” to a family member for the same number of nights booked. A 3 night minimum stay is
required per reservation in order to apply towards benefits.
PRIVATE FUNCTIONS*
• 5 - 9 rooms for 3 nights or 15 - 19 room nights = One (1) cocktail reception for one (1) hour.
• 10 - 19 rooms for 3 nights or 30 - 59 room nights = One (1) private function for two (2) hours. (may be a cocktail reception or dinner).
• 20 - 24 rooms for 3 nights or 60 - 74 room nights = One (1) private function for three (3) hours (may be a cocktail reception and
dinner).
• 25 + rooms for 3 nights or 75+ room nights at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana = Two (2) private functions for three (3) hours (may
be cocktail reception and dinner and may not be held on the same day).
• 25 + rooms for 3 nights or 75+ room nights at Hard Rock Hotel Cancun, Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya & Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta =
Unlimited private events for up to three (3) hours per day (may be cocktail receptions and dinners).
*Locations for private functions will be confirmed 30 days prior to arrival for groups of 50 guests or more or 25 rooms for 3 nights. If
minimum requirement is not met, confirmation of location will be assigned at the resort at time of arrival and will be subject to availability.
Private functions of 2 hours will only be honored as 1 event.
ROOM RESERVATIONS
In order for Wedding Group Benefits to apply, all reservations must be booked through the same source with or without a group contract.
Couple’s reservation must be part of the group booking for benefits to apply.

PUNTA CANA WEDDING INFORMATION

The couple is required to arrive to the resort three (3) business days (Monday - Friday) prior to the ceremony for civil or catholic ceremonies. For
symbolic ceremonies, the couple must arrive to the resort two (2) business days prior to the ceremony. Arrival must be before 12:00PM in order to
consider the day of arrival as a complete business day.
•
Complimentary Wedding Collection will incur a cost of $500.00 if requested 30 days prior to the ceremony.
•
Administrative / Government fee of $600.00 will be applied to all civil ceremonies performed by a Justice of the Peace in addition to collection cost.
•
Catholic Administrative fee of $600.00 will be applied to all Catholic ceremonies performed by a Catholic Priest.
•
Complimentary Package does not apply if requested onsite.
•
Symbolic weddings are not legally binding ceremonies.
•
Depending on selection of requested flowers, additional costs may apply. Please note our onsite flower selection highly depends on the time of year as
well as our weekly floral imports. Certain flowers may not be available.
•
Couples will be able to open their Bridal Registry once the wedding has been confirmed. Within the Registry, couples may choose from flowers, wedding
decor, tours, golf and spa treatments for the celebration to follow. Couples will be able to provide their bridal registry link to all their guests. Couples may
also personalize their own wedding site uploading their engagement pictures, favorite songs and much more.

For ceremonies over 30 persons, an additional charge will apply per person.

In case of inclement weather, bubble display presentation will not be extended (available only at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana). No credits will
be adjusted.

Musician’s selection is subject to availability.
•
Décor included in the wedding collections will be extended exclusively for the ceremony. Reception tables are at an additional cost.
•
One dinner reservation at selected restaurants for up to 30 persons. If you have more guests, a private function can be purchased.
•
Depending on photography package chosen, it may take up to 3 weeks to receive. If the couple purchases one of the photography packages, the onsite
photographers will be able to provide a CD with your images.
•
Upon check-in, couples are required to proceed towards the Honeymoon desk in order to reconfirm their honeymoon package amenities.
•
No personal checks will be accepted at the resort.
•
Additional charge will apply for extra chairs and linens.
•
All items will be non-refundable if cancelled 30 days prior to ceremony.

NEW: Weddings at 2:00 PM or earlier will require a $200 USD non-refundable deposit to confirm the wedding date.

Upon arrival, the government of Punta Cana charges a fee at customs in the airport. Please contact your travel provider for further details.

The couple must NOT be legally married in order to qualify for our civil ceremony. If they are already married, only a Symbolic wedding or Vow Renewal
ceremony can be performed.

Copy of all your documents must be sent to your wedding planner at least 45 days prior to arrival for verification. It is the couples’ responsibility to
submit a copy of all documents to the onsite planner.
•
IMPORTANT - If either of the couples nationality is Dominican, additional documents are required. Please advise your wedding planner. Names on Green
Card, Divorce Decree and Passport MUST be the same, including spelling.
•
If divorced, a certified copy of Divorce Decree is required. If divorced more than once, please bring each Divorce Decree.
•
If divorced less than six months, the legal ceremony cannot be performed. Symbolic ceremonies are available.
All documentation must be translated into Spanish by the Dominican Consulate office from your country/state of residency. You MUST bring the
translated documents; we are not able to translate them at the resort. All translations must have original apostille seal provided by the Dominican Consulate
Office.
Please note that Birth Certificates, Divorce Decrees, Death Certificates, adoption and name change documents become the property of the Province of La
Alta Gracia, Punta Cana if certified copies are not provided.
A Marriage Certificate is provided by the Province of La Alta Gracia, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic for civil ceremonies, this is a legal document
issued in Spanish. All wedding couples must contact their local courthouse for filing requirements. Every state/country is different when it comes to
filing of foreign marriage documents. Some states/countries require the certificates to be translated from Spanish to English, others may require
additional paper work to be filed. This is the couples’ responsibility and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana is not liable for any additional charges that
may be associated according to the state/country’s requirements on supplementary paperwork. The marriage certificate will be mailed to the couples
directly using the address provided onsite. Due to the civil ceremony processes in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic the certificate can take up to 2 months
to be shipped and a mandatory fee of $75.00 USD will apply.
Ceremony cannot be performed unless all documents are in order. (NO EXCEPTIONS). All documents with the exception of passports become the
property of the Province of La Alta Gracia, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

MEXICO WEDDING INFORMATION

In Cancun and Riviera Maya, the couple is required to arrive to the resort three (3) business days (Monday through Friday) prior to the ceremony for civil
ceremonies. In Vallarta, the couple must arrive four (4) business days prior to the ceremony for civil ceremonies. For Symbolic Ceremonies in Cancun,
Vallarta and Riviera Maya, the couple must arrive to the resort two (2) business days prior to the ceremony. Arrival must be before 12:00 PM in order to
consider day of arrival as a complete business day.
•
Complimentary Wedding Collection will incur a cost of $500.00 if requested 30 days prior to the ceremony.
•
An Administrative / Government fee of $600 USD will be applied to all civil ceremonies performed by a justice of the peace in addition to
package cost. Translation fees for documents will be charged at the resort according to documents and number of pages.
•
Complimentary Collection does not apply if requested onsite.
•
Symbolic weddings are not legally binding ceremonies.
•
Depending on selection of requested flowers, additional costs may apply. Please note our onsite flower selection highly depends on the time of year as
well as our weekly imports received. Certain flowers may not be available.

Couples will be able to open their Bridal Registry once the wedding has been confirmed. Within the Registry, couples may choose from flowers and

Catholic ceremonies are available at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya. Ceremonies take place in the oceanfront San
Charbel Chapel
The couple must check with their local Parish for all their requirements needed to proceed with a foreign ceremony.
When all requirements have been completed, the couple a Letter of Permission that should be signed and sealed by the
Pastor, the Parish, the Diocese and the Bishop of the marriage official. The letter must be submitted to the Parish of Playa
del Carmen 2 months prior to the ceremony date.

FEES & POLICIES
Wedding collections must be reserved in advance. The complimentary collection will not apply if requested onsite. All reservations
must be booked at least 1 month (31 days) prior to arrival. Dominican Registry office is open from Monday through Friday only.
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana, Hard Rock Hotel Cancun, Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya and Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta will
provide couples with a variety of in-house services to choose from. A third party vendor fee of $500.00 USD will apply for outside
vendors and entertainers not contracted through as one of our preferred vendors. For Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana please
contact your Wedding Planner on applicable vendor fees for entertainers.
Wedding Ceremony can only be performed at the resort where the couple resides.
DRESS CODE: Formal or semi-formal, no shorts or bathing suits. Groom may wear dressy shorts for ceremony only. For selected restaurants formal dress code applies.
Payment Policy:

Weddings at 2:00 PM or earlier will require a $200 USD non-refundable deposit to confirm the wedding date.
•
Weddings at 3:00 PM or later will require a $300 USD non-refundable deposit to confirm the wedding date.
•
The non-refundable deposit will be applied to the couple’s Wedding Proposal and can be used
towards a Colin Cowie Wedding Collection or optional services. If the couple chooses to change their wedding to a later time,
then the remaining balance will be applied at the time of the requested change, if applicable.
•
Final payment for all wedding services are due 45 days prior to ceremony.
Cancellation Policy:
•
Cancellations made 31 days or more prior to the wedding, deposit is not refundable. All other payments are refundable.
•
Cancellations made 30 days or less prior to the wedding, all payments are non-refundable.
Visa, Master Card & American Express are accepted. Personal checks are not accepted at the resort.
