M&M’S
1. Soak the tip of the waffle cone in warm water for about 20 seconds. My
friend said to put a little water on the inside of the cone too.
2. Remove from water and microwave the wet waffle cone for about 20
seconds.
3. Roll the softened tip of the cone around a clean pencil and hold it in place
for about 20 seconds.
4. After the cone has hardened completely, fill with candies, cover the opening
with plastic wrap, use the rubber band to secure the wrap, and tie a ribbon

Jolly Rancher Gift
1. Use the Stick Jolly Ranchers as seen above OR fill small cellophane bags
with Jolly Rancher individual candies.
2.
MASON JARS GOODIES
SUPPLIES:
- Chex Mix Muddy Buddies (large size bags at Sams Club)
- Box of Chocolate Chex cereal (Walmart)
- Bag of Mini Pretzel Twists
- Bag of Christmas M&Ms
**Mix all contents together and fill small mason jars with mix.
TO MAKE THE JARS:
1. Use Quart size mason jars. I found a dozen at Walmart for about $11. Fill each jar with
your Chocolate Chex Mix
2. Place the circle lid on the top of the jar
3. Cut circles from a Christmas fabric approximately 5 1/4" in diameter. Use pinking shears
for a fun edging if you have a pair. Screw on the jar lid over the fabric circle.
4. Using hot glue, adhere an approximately 3/4" wide ribbon to the side of the jar lid.
5. Wrap some red & white bakers twine around the jar lid a few times and tie into a bow.
6. Add a candy cane under the bow for a sweet embellishment.
Movie in a Bottle
Here are some tips on the soda bottle project:
1. Rinse out the bottle before you cut, then after you cut the hole you can reach
through it and dry the inside of the bottle with a paper towel.
2. Put in the larger items first then fill in with smaller. You can always drop in really
small items or shredded colored paper through the neck of the bottle to fill the
top if needed.
3. Look in your recycling bin, you may find other cool bottles (like the square juice
bottles) that will hold even more!

Snowflake Ornament
For this snowflake version, glue 3 puzzle pieces evenly spaced
from one another onto a grey-board circle.
On top, I added another 3 puzzle pieces centered between them,
which formed the perfect snowflake!
Paint the snowflake with white acrylic paint and added glitter.
Attach the ribbon hanger.
Snowman Cups filled
with Treats
First things first! Fill all your cups with goodies and close them with the lids! This makes them
easier to hold when you paint them giving the super light Styrofoam a little more weight and
with the lids on you can stack them!
Using pink paint and a small round sponge, you’ll add your rosie cheeks! Next you’ll use the
end of a paintbrush and black paint to add your coal smile and eyes! Lastly you’ll hot glue on
your felt nose cut from a sheet of stiff felt. I painted all my cheeks then all my mouths and eyes
and then glued on my noses. By the time I moved onto the next step, the step I just finished
was dry!
