Student makes
Super Awesome
Car... with Lego!
The life size car is made from more than 500,000 Lego
bricks. Its engine is also made of Lego and uses air! It
has a total of 256 pistons. But the wheels are not made
of Lego. They are made of rubber. The car goes very
slowly – only about 20km an hour!
Raul Oaida is a 20-year-old Romanian student. He
designed and made the Lego car in Romania. It took 18
months to make. Then he shipped the car to Australia.
Steve Sammartino

Now, Raul and Steve

to car shows around
the world.
