Why Work At Nercon?
Meet Kevin, Electrical Design Engineer
What Is My Role At Nercon?
As an Electrical Design Engineer, I design and program the electrical
controls for conveyor systems. This involves determining what
components will be
needed, designing the
electrical schematics
drawings of the
system, programming
the controller logic
and human-machine
interface, testing the
completed system,
and assisting with
system startup at the
customer’s manufacturing plant.
What I Do Outside Of Work?
When I am not at work I spend time with family and friends, play golf,
play basketball, and ride my bike on the many bike trails.
Working at Nercon gives engineers the
ability to use the latest technology when
designing controls systems. Electrical
Engineers are able to learn the latest
controls product and quickly implement them
on projects. Nercon provides engineers
the opportunity to work on many different
projects for a variety of customers. At
Nercon there are always new projects with
their own opportunities and challenges to
work on. Nercon works hard to train and
teach new employees so that they can begin
contributing on project as soon as possible.
Nercon is a place to come if you want to be
challenged, grow, and be a part of designing
equipment that makes the things you use
every day.
