Bishop Todd Lamont Fulton Bishop Todd Lamont Fulton is married to the former Judith Yvette Roberts and has one daughter Mariah, graduate of Elizabeth State University in North Carolina. Bishop Fulton is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Shaw University where he received his B.A. Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Philosophy of Religion in 2004. He received a Master of Divinity Degree from Shaw Divinity School in 2008. Bishop Fulton received his call to ministry on September 26, 1991 and was ordained an Elder in 1996. He was consecrated to the office of Bishop on December 2001, by Apostle Sylvester Davis Johnson and the International True Vine Churches of Deliverance, Inc. College of Bishops. He served at Macedonia T.V.C.O.D. faithfully for twenty-one years as a board member of T.V.C.O.D. College of Bishops and Special Administrative Assistant to the chief Apostle. Bishop Fulton is presently the Senior Pastor of Mt. Moriah Outreach Center in Kernersville, NC. MMOC is a growing ministry that empowers people economically, socially and spiritually. The focal point for the ministry is serving the un-churched and the unsaved. The church mission is to Seek, Save, and Serve. Via the MMOC Computer Learning Center the ministry and staff are helping to eradicate adult computer illiteracy in the community. The Bread of Life Ministry began as a self-funded church program. Now in collaboration with Second Harvest Food Bank of NW North Carolina we are feeding upwards of 400 people monthly and ministering to bodies and souls. In 2013, in cooperation with the Cooperative Extension, MMOC launched a Community Garden to address the issues of the food insecure. The next phase of the Community Garden project is Food Preservation Classes to ensure that fresh produce is properly prepared for storage. Bishop Fulton’s Male Mentoring Ministry has nurtured and molded a plethora of young African American males in the community and church family. The annual Women’s Conference and Health Fair ministers to community women mind, soul and body. Bishop Fulton broaden his ministerial horizon internationally when he traveled to St. Kitts in the eastern Caribbean on a medical and mission initiative in collaboration with Global Faith Alliance out of Washington, DC. Bishop Fulton annually preaches a three night revival to heal the broken hearted and to minister deliverance to the captives and to set at liberty those who were oppressed. This mission trip changed his outlook on life and servitude. Elder Tembila Christine Covington is the founder and pastor of Crossing Red Sea Ministries in Rockingham (Richmond Co.), North Carolina. In 2007, Tembila Covington embarked upon the journey to nurture and lead people into the knowledge of Christ Jesus. In her search to walk in her God divine calling, ‘Serving Hands Outreach’ was birthed in spring of 2008. This outreach helps those unable to prepare for or afford an enjoyable and delicious holiday feast. In November of 2007, she was ordained Minister of the gospel and in March of 2010, was ordained Elder. Pastor Tembila Christine Covington’s educational background is in business administration; she has a bachelor degree in divinity from Ezekiel Institute of Ministry (where she is currently studying for her Master is Biblical Studies) and is a certified Life Coach. Pastor Covington is the proud mother of one daughter – Shani Paige Nicholson. Pastor Tembila Christine Covington is dedicated to the cause of Christ and heeded the call of serving in the body of Christ. Rev. Omar L. Dykes Rev. Omar L. Dykes is a native of Chester, Pennsylvania. He is the youngest son given to Millie and the late Bobby Dykes. He holds a B.A. degree in History from Miles College in Birmingham, Alabama and a Master of Divinity from Phillips School of Theology at the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a candidate for the Master of Sacred Theology at the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has served as Pastor in Estill and Charleston, South Carolina and presently serves as the Senior Pastor of St. John C.M.E. Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. At the tender age of eleven, Rev. Dykes accepted Jesus the Christ as His Lord and Savior at St. Matthew Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Twin Oaks, Pennsylvania. At the age of thirteen, he answered his call and was licensed to the ministry of preaching God's Word. He was nurtured and trained by his grandmother, the late Reverend Amy E. Dixon. He was later ordained into the ministry by the late Bishop Thomas L. Hoyt, Jr. Rev. Dykes loves the hymns of the church; his favorite hymn is "Draw Me Nearer". His favorite scripture is 2 Timothy 4:12, "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set the example for the believers in speech, life, love, faith, and in purity". Rev Dykes has been the keynote speaker at many meetings, banquets, conferences and retreats, on the local, state, and national level. He has received numerous awards from religious, community, and other organizations. He has served as the Young Adult Steward for the C.M.E. Eaton is a student perusing his Bachelor of Theology degree at The APEX School of Theology, earning a 4.0 GPA in his first scholastic term. He has participated in the Commencement Celebration of Forsyth Technical Community College as an Associate in Arts student in General Studies/College Transfer Program, Class of 2006. Eaton was formally educated by the WinstonSalem/Forsyth County School System and is a proud graduate of Carver High School, Class of 1998. Eaton is an entrepreneur and budding author. He is the proud owner of Soulful Designs by Eaton were its services include; fashion design, custom clothing, and image consulting and secondly in graphic design, lending services to organization in the area of logo and promotional items. He is authoring two books, one focuses of the state of the Christian Church and Denominationalism. The second focuses of the African American Man and his family. Eaton served faithful as Pastoral Assistant and Armor Bearer from 1999-2011, Union Baptist Church, Winston-Salem, NC. Being led of God’s spirit he transitioned to St. James Missionary Baptist Church, of the same city where he was then licensed to the Gospel Ministry in 2012 under the Pastoral Leadership of Mack H.L. McConnel, Senior Pastor. Eaton serves as Youth Director and Youth Minister. Eaton is also serving as an officer for the Guilford Educational Missionary Baptist Association, under the direction of Pastor Mack H.L. McConnel, Association’s Moderator and the leadership of President Pastor Calvin Eggleston as Director of Christian Education/Corresponding Secretary to the Sunday School & Baptist Training Union Auxiliary. Eaton, a native of Winston-Salem, NC, is son to the now late Edgar L. Duncan Jr., (father) and David A. Smart (stepfather) and Donna Eaton Smart. He is the proud big brother to DraLisa A. Smart. Rev. Dianne Horton Reverend Dianne Horton, M.Div., BCC serves as Chaplain for Transitional and Supportive Care Services in the Division of FaithHealth Ministries of Wake Forest Baptist Health. In this role, Rev. Horton provides pastoral care to patients and families during and after their hospital admission. Rev. Horton’s work also includes collaborating with local agencies, faith communities and community organizations in an effort to help vulnerable patients connect to local resources and support during periods of health status transition. Rev. Horton considers it an honor and a privilege to be involved with the sacred work of developing proactive means to improve the health of communities. Rev. Horton earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Salem College where she majored in Sociology and minored in Religion. She earned the Master of Divinity Degree from Wake Forest University School of Divinity with the distinguished honor of receiving the John Thomas and Dorothy Porter Award in Vocational Formation and Community Ministry. She completed a two year residency in Clinical Pastoral Education with a Pastoral Care Specialty at Wake Forest Baptist Health. Rev. Horton is a board certified chaplain recognized by The Association of Professional Chaplains. She is an ordained minister endorsed by the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. Rev. Horton serves as an Associate Minister at New Bethel Baptist Church. Rev. Horton is married to Mr. George Horton. They are the proud parents of one son, Jamaal Ali and one daughter, Escada Simone. Rev. Clifford A. Jones, Jr. Clifford A. Jones, Jr. is a preacher, singer and program administrator. He has devoted his life to “serving God and spreading the Good News” of the Christian faith. Born in Clinton, NC and reared in Charlotte, NC, he has traveled extensively preaching, teaching and studying God’s word. He studied the remnants of 1st Century Christianity in Malta and Tunisia; studied and performed opera in Cortona, Italy with the USC Studio Lirico; and represented Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, Charlotte N.C. as a delegate in Spain, Scotland, England, Ghana, Holland, and Hawaii. As a ministerial assistant at Pond Street Baptist Church, Providence, Rhode Island from September 2000 to May 2001, he was charged with the spiritual success and enrichment of the children, youth and young adults. During his four years as an Associate Minister at Friendship, he has distinguished himself with his work in planning, developing, implementing and directing church related programs and activities, including the Capital Fund Ministry with its goal of 5 million dollars in pledges. His value to the church and its faith in his capabilities are evidenced by this significant and responsible assignment. A strong advocate for the oppressed and underserved, he worked as a chaplain intern and chaplain on-call at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC; served the Charlotte Uptown Men’s Shelter, Children of Dalton Village, Faith Youth Institute in Newton Centre, MA as a Peer Advisor and Counselor; and worked as an intern with Men Stopping Violence in Atlanta, GA. While attending Andover-Newton Theological School (ANTS), he helped found the ANTS Gospel Choir and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Service. From 2005-2010, he served on the Worship and Spirituality Commission of the Baptist World Alliance. Rev. Jones sensed God’s call on his life and accepted the call to ministry in 1998. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from South Carolina State University, Orangeburg, SC.; Master of Divinity degree in 2002 from Andover-Newton Theological School in Newton Centre, MA and the Master of Theology degree in 2004 from Emory University/Candler School of Theology, Atlanta GA, and a Certificate in Contextual Theology from the International Baptist Theological Seminary in Prague, Czech Republic. He also completed and received Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) certificate from Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC in 2000 In addition, Rev. Jones was blessed to serve as a fellow for the Lott Carey Baptist Foreign Mission Convention Pastoral Excellence Program. The program is a 3-year spiritually comprehensive discourse that provides ministers an opportunity to participate in global mission projects in South America, Africa, Jamaica, and Italy. Moreover, Rev Jones completed a two year commitment with Project Rising Sun, a ministerial initiative financially funded through the Lily Endowment and supported by the Fund for Theological Education that gives ministers of color (40 and under) materials, resources, learning activities, and workshops to foster more effective and successful ministerial performance. Over the last 9 years, Rev Jones has been blessed to serve as the Senior Servant of United Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church. After a year of pulpit supply, Rev Jones consented to God’s will to become the second minister in its history. During his tenure as pastor, the church has undergone major aesthetical renovations, and total liquidation of debt. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors of, SunnySide Ministries, the Northwest Child Development Corporation, 1st Vice President of the Minister’s Conference of Winston Salem and Vicinity, a Volunteer Chaplain for the Winston Salem Police Department, and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Moreover, Rev Jones served on the Board of Directors for the Center of Congregational Health and was a wrestling coach for North Forsyth High School in Winston Salem, N.C. In addition to singing, Rev Jones enjoys watching movies, playing sports, hunting and fishing. His favorite and best hobby is just taking a plain old ‘nap’. Reverend Touré Marshall, pastor of the Grace Presbyterian Church of Winston-Salem, NC is a native of Atlanta, Georgia with roots in Chicago, IL and Baltimore, MD. He received his Bachelor of Science degree with a Major in Marketing and a double Minor in Finance and Economics from Johnson C. Smith University, where he graduated with honors and earned the distinction of “The Most Outstanding Honor’s College Male,” of his graduating class. The son of a Presbyterian minister, Rev. Marshall gained experience and exposure to ministry and the role of religion in society, early and often. He began at eight years old canvassing the streets of the Southside of Chicago in the Altgeld Gardens Housing Projects doing voter engagement work alongside his father. Later as a teenager, he was the coordinator of an ecumenical coalition of congregations that worked on the East side of Baltimore, MD. As coordinator of the ecumenical coalition, he organized youth in anti-drug rallies/campaigns, neighborhood block meetings, and set-up forums where local residents and politicians engaged each other to collectively construct solutions to community concerns. Rev. Marshall possesses a strong sense of call to serve church and community. As the current pastor of Grace Presbyterian Church, Rev. Marshall has placed a renewed emphasis on worship that is both inspiring and relevant. Grace is striving to be a Christian community that effectively evangelizes and embraces multiple generations. Prior to his current tenure as pastor at Grace, Rev. Marshall served as pastor of the Hermon Presbyterian Church of Rock Hill, SC and as a professional community organizer in Charlotte, NC. While glorifying God through church and community organizing has always been an essential part of his ministry, Reverend Marshall is also a dynamic scholar, teacher and preacher. He is a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary where he earned both his Master of Divinity and Master of Theology degrees with a concentration in the area of Religion and Society. He is also published in the Princeton Theological Review. Reverend Marshall is married to the Reverend Eustacia Moffett Marshall and together they are the proud parents of Jeremiah Touré Marshall and Jessica Monét Marshall. Dr. Robert L. McGowens Dr. Robert L. McGowens Sr. is a senior pastor at Greater Galilee Baptist Church of Charlotte North Carolina and Winston Salem, North Carolina. McGowens acknowledged his call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in 1981 at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church of Greenville, South Carolina. He was licensed by the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church and ordained by the Enoree River Baptist Association. In July 2005, Pastor McGowens was called to the Greater Galilee Baptist Church, Charlotte, North Carolina and in February 2010, Greater Galilee Winston Salem, North Carolina was established. Prior to that, he served as a pastor for Galilee Missionary Baptist Church from 1994-2005, Salem Baptist Church from 1984-1994, and Athens Baptist Church from 1981-1984. Pastor McGowens saw the need to pursue religious training by studying at Morris College School of Religion-Greenville Extension. He received a Bachelor of Ministry degree from Columbia Bible Institute-Spartanburg Extension, and further studied at Anderson University, Anderson, South Carolina. He then earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in religion and philosophy, cum laude, from Shaw University, Raleigh, North Carolina and a Master of Divinity degree from Shaw University Divinity School. In addition, he has received a Doctor Ministry Degree from Covington Theological Seminary, and has completed the pastoral care training at Presbyterian Hospital. Pastor McGowens is a respected member of the National Baptist Congress and Conventions USA Inc., Progressive National Baptist Convention USA Inc., Lott Carey Foreign Mission Convention, General Baptist State Convention of North Carolina Inc., Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, Inc., Mt. Peace (United) Missionary Baptist Association Inc., High Point Educational and Missionary Baptist Association, Inc. and NAACP. In addition, he is a Lott Carey executive board member, 3rd degree Prince Hall Mason, and serves on the Wadsworth Estate Foundation Committee and as second vice moderator of United Missionary Baptist Association. Pastor McGowens is well known and highly respected for his dedication and exemplary leadership, and credits his success to passion, faith, and hard work, qualities he exercises in all of his endeavors. He has received a number of honors including being inducted into Alpha Chi National Honor Society, recognition as Man of the Year by Jack and Jill of America, The Man of the Year Religion Award from the Charlotte Queen City chapter of National Women of Achievement Inc., special recognition from the General Baptist State Convention of North Carolina and Lott Carey Foreign Mission Convention for leadership in missions education and evangelism. Honorary Doctor of Theology Degree from The North Carolina School of Theology and The St. Thomas Christian College of Jacksonville, Florida also awarded him with an honorary doctorate of divinity degree for exceptional leadership in the areas of education, evangelism, and missions. Inducted into the Who's Who Among Professional and Executives of America, Who's Who Black Leaders of Charlotte and the Princeton Global Registry for his demonstration in Academic, Professional and Personal Excellence and inducted into the Charlotte' Who's Who Black Leaders of Charlotte. Lead the Salem Missionary Baptist Church into a building project and also Galilee Missionary Baptist Church Winston Salem into a 1.5 million dollar building fund campaign for a 3.5 million building project. Visionary for the MLK, Jr. Celebration which is the largest celebration commemorating Dr. King's Birthday in Charlotte, North Carolina. Is a published author of a Marriage and Family Relationship books entitled "The Real Flava of Luv" and " The Dating Game" and Love and Marriage. Despite a naturally altruistic position, Dr. McGowens further impacts the community through his involvement with several charitable and cultural organizations. Dr. McGowens has been featured in both the National Baptist Convention, Inc. and the National Baptist of America and several state conventions and associations.
