In addition, NEC will provide clean, reliable electricity for northern New Jersey and the regional power grid. New York Power Authority - Astoria Plant, $334 million 500 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant Self-performance of all civil, structural and mechanical work of the 97,000 SF plant, including installation, testing, commissioning of all equipment. The project employed 15 local labor unions and was built with low emission construction vehicles and equipment. Duke Energy Edwardsport IGCC Facility, $250 million 600 MW Coal Gasification Plant Structural steel erection, equipment setting, piping, electrical and instrumentation, as well as cable tray installation on the gasification section of its $2.9 billion IGCC facility in Edwardsport, Ind. Work included the Gasification Structure, the Gasification Balance of Plant Structures and the interconnecting Pipe Racks. This plant is the largest of its kind in the United States. Our Clients ConEd East River Repowering Project, $235 million 360 MW Combined-Cycle Power Plant Installation of major generator equipment without disruption of the fully operational combined-cycle powerhouse. The new state-of-the-art plant releases 70% fewer emissions than the previous plant.
