located near Galleon Gallery, just
past the village of Esperanza. “The
overpass is right before you get to
the Gallery, heading towards Playa
Grande. You walk down and under
the overpass, along the dry river bed
and you will find this tiny waterfall with Tarzan like vines hanging
down,” says Montgomery. “It is a
great little place and only a twenty
minute hike from the main road.

and enthusiastic Marion Fischer
opened the Gallery Galleon with a
basic mission in mind.

“We want the Gallery to be a
haven for local and international
artists on the beautiful island of
Vieques,” says Ms. Fischer. “This
season be prepared for the old and
new Galleon tradition of music,
poetry and dancing. We believe in
tradition and have a diverse array of
beautiful fine art for you to peruse
and enjoy. We are so thankful for
the warm welcome we have received
in Vieques.”
The Gallery is showcasing the
work of Cape Cod artists Eve Aspinwall, Rob Brooks & Michael
McGuire through February 1st.
