…non una semplice doga…
Le doghe che compongono le strutture dei letti Axil hanno la caratteristica di essere realizzate in FRP (Fibre Reinforced Polymers),
materiale composito costituito da una matrice polimerica di natura organica con la quale viene impregnato un rinforzo in fibra con
elevate proprietà meccaniche.
Perché si è scelto l’FRP? Come tutti i materiali compositi ha un comportamento elastico lineare fino al punto di collasso.
L’ufficio Ricerca e Sviluppo di Axil ha effettuato studi e test che hanno portato alla scelta (fra numerosi materiali testati) dell’FRP
e al successivo brevetto del profilo che costituisce la struttura a doghe dei letti Axil.
Questa permette, indipendentemente dalla larghezza del materasso, di avere una campata unica (senza interruzione centrale come
nelle reti metalliche o le strutture a doghe in legno), di essere completamente smontabile per la pulizia e l’igiene periodica e di
ridurre l’impatto ambientale del packaging (minori volumi e minore consumo di cartone e materiali plastici per imballaggio).
Un letto Axil viene montato in tutte le sue componenti (struttura, e rivestimenti) in meno di dieci minuti!
L’elevata leggerezza, unita alla resistenza meccanica, la resistenza alla corrosione, la coibenza termica e le elevate proprietà
dielettriche e amagnetiche, ne fanno un materiale altamente performante e tecnologicamente avanzato anche in un’applicazione
straordinaria come un letto (normalmente le applicazioni sono l’ingegneria aeronautica, navale e biomedica).
La deformazione a flessione per una singola doga di 170cm di lunghezza è di circa 3cm per un carico concentrato in mezzeria
di 80kg. L’FRP non subisce modifiche prestazionali nel tempo, quindi una struttura a doghe in FRP rimarrà inalterata nel tempo
a differenza delle comuni reti metalliche o in legno.
I profili con cui è composta la struttura a doghe Axil sono realizzati con il metodo della Pultrusione cioè un’estrusione di Poliestere
rinforzato con fibre di vetro (GFRP) anallergico e inattacabile da funghi o agenti organici.
…not just any other slat…
The slats that make up the basic structure of Axil beds are in FRP (Fibre Reinforced Polymer), a composite material made of
an organic polymer matrix which impregnates a fibre reinforcement with high mechanical properties. Why FRP? Like all composite materials, FRP has a linear elastic behaviour up to the collapse point. Axil Research and Development
Division has conducted many trials and tests that finally led to the choice of FRP among the many tested materials, and to the
ensuing patent of the section that makes up the slatted structure of Axil beds.
Regardless of the width of the mattress, the bedspring can have a single span (with no central discontinuation, as it is the case
with metal and wooden slat bedsprings), and it can be completely disassembled for cleaning and periodic sanitizing procedures,
reducing at the same time the environmental impact of the packaging (thanks to smaller volumes and less cardboard and plastic
materials). An Axil bed can be assembled in all its components (structures and covers) in less than ten minutes!
The extreme lightness of this material, together with its mechanical resistance, resistance to corrosion, thermal insulation and
excellent dielectric and amagnetic properties, make it a highly performant and technologically advanced material even in an
unusual application such as a bed (normal application fields are aeronautical, naval and biomedical engineering). The bending strain for each single 170 cm-long slat is 3 cm ca. for a 80 kg load on the centre. FRP does not undergo any time-related change in its performances, therefore a slatted bedspring in FRP will remain unaltered in time, unlike the common metal
or wooden bedsprings.
The sections making up the Axil slatted structure are obtained through the poltrusion method, i.e. an extrusion of hypoallergenic
and fungi-proof or organic agents-proof glass fibre reinforced polyester (GFRP).

RETE A DOGHE IN FAGGIO
Leggerezza, versatilità di impiego e alta resistenza a carichi elevati sono le caratteristiche
che distinguono una rete a doghe in faggio di Axil da una qualsiasi altra rete.
Impiegata per la realizzazione dei nuovi programmi di letti singoli e per i letti trasformabili della collezione, la struttura portante
della rete in profilato di acciaio verniciato a polveri epossidiche è provvista di apposite asole ricavate da taglio a laser nelle quali
vengono inseriti i gommini reggi-doga stampati in polipropilene esclusivi Axil.
Nel progettare il gommino reggi-doga, l’equipe dell’ufficio Ricerca e Sviluppo si è posta come obiettivo l’eliminazione dei difetti
comuni a gli elementi stampati simili reperibili in commercio.
Rispetto ad un elemento stampato tradizionale il gommino Axil evita la torsione delle doghe causata dall’umidità, dalle differenze
di temperatura stagionali e dall’usura derivante dall’utilizzo quotidiano. Inoltre, grazie al particolare innesto anti-strappo,
e in grado di aumenta in maniera significativa la resistenza al carico di ogni singola doga mantenendo inalterate le caratteristiche
meccaniche del piano rete anche dopo anni di utilizzo, (struttura garantita 10 anni).
Come per gli altri prodotti della collezione, anche i letti con rete in doghe di faggio sono completamente smontabili e sfoderabili
in ogni parte.
SLATTED BEDSPRING
WITH BEECHWOOD SLATS
Lightness, versatility and resistance to high loads is what makes the Axil slatted bedspring
with beechwood slats different from any other bedspring.
The bedspring is used in the new ranges of single and convertible beds of the collection, and its bearing frame is made in epoxy
powder coated steel section bars and equipped with suitable laser-cut slots where the slat-supporting moulded polypropylene
fixings (an Axil exclusive) are inserted.
In designing the slat-supporting fixings, the Research and Development team aimed at eliminating the common faults of similar
moulded elements that are available on the market.
Compared to a traditional moulded element, the Axil fixing avoids the twisting of the slats which is normally caused by humidity,
differences in seasonal temperatures and usage-related wear and tear. Besides, the special pull-resistant coupling can significantly increase the resistance to load of each single slat, thus keeping unaltered the mechanical features of the bedspring even after
many years of use (the structure is guaranteed for 10 years).
As the other products of the collection, the beds with slatted bedspring in beechwood can also be completely dismantled and have
fully removable covers.

RETI CON MOVIMENTO
Per venire in contro alle esigenze particolari dei clienti, Axil da sempre progetta la maggior
parte dei letti della collezione in maniera tale da poter essere predisposti di rete con
movimento manuale o elettrico, (consultare il listino prezzi per la compatibilità dei modelli).
Le reti con movimento vengono integrate in maniera perfetta all’interno della struttura portante in tubolare di acciaio, senza
modificare in alcun modo l’aspetto estetico e funzionale del prodotto. Infatti le caratteristiche di sfoderabilità del rivestimento,
solidità strutturale e completa smontabilità sono le medesime di un letto Axil con doghe in FRP.
Le reti con movimento elettrico o manuale hanno il telaio in multistrato di faggio verniciato con vernici atossiche secondo le normative europee. Le doghe, montate su supporti in SEBS a lunga durata, sono in multistrati di faggio curvato con sezione mm.38x8
in classe E1, con regolatori di rigidità a scorrimento trasversale nella zona lombare. La versione con movimento elettrico è dotata
di motori a ridotto ingombro, con albero di trasmissione diretta, dotati di trasformatore a bassa tensione e pulsantiera di comando.
BEDSPRINGS WITH RECLINING
MECHANISM
In order to meet the customers’ special needs, Axil has always been designing most
of the beds in its collection so as to be fitted with a manual or electric reclining mechanism
(see the price list for compatible models).
The reclining bedsprings are perfectly integrated in the bearing structure made in tubular steel section bars without altering the
product’s aesthetics and functionality. These beds actually share the same features, such as removability of the covers, structural
solidity and total demountability, of the Axil beds with FRP slats.
The bedsprings with electrical or manual reclining mechanism come with a multi-ply beechwood frame painted with non-toxic
paints according to the European directives. The slats, mounted on long-lasting SEBS supports, are in curved, multi-ply beechwood
with a section of 38x8 mm in class E1, with cross-sliding stiffness adjusters in the lumbar region. The version with electric mechanism is provided with small-volume motors with direct drive shaft, low voltage transformer and push-button control panel.

SFODERABILITA’
……ha 30 anni ma è sempre nuovo…
Sei stanco del colore del tuo letto? Nessun problema, cambiagli l’abito scegliendo il tessuto o il pellame nel vasto e esclusivo
campionario selezionato da Axil e tornerà come novo!
Il vantaggio di scegliere un letto imbottito sta nell’avere la possibilità di rinnovare nel tempo l’immagine del prodotto cambiando
il rivestimento della struttura. L’ulteriore vantaggio nello scegliere un letto imbottito Axil sta nell’avere un letto sempre nuovo
anche nei contenuti!
L’azienda infatti garantisce le parti strutturali in acciaio e legno per ben 10 anni, (le caratteristiche meccaniche della rete in FRP
rimangono inalterate per secoli). Per le coperture delle parti strutturali e imbottite vengono impiegati resinati e i poliuretani
accoppiati a vellutino sintetico di colore grigio anti-ingiallente. La struttura quindi rimarra inalterata nel tempo e non subirà gli
inestetismi da ossidazione dei tradizionali vellutini bianchi.
COVER REMOVABILITY

The advantage of choosing an upholstered bed is that your product can maintain an up-to-date look through the years by simply
changing the cover of its structure. And the further advantage is that your Axil upholstered bed will always be up-to-date in its
technical features!
As a matter of fact, our company guarantees all steel and wooden structural elements for as much as 10 years (the mechanical
features of the FRP bedspring remain unaltered for centuries). As a cover for the structural parts and for the padding we employ
resinates and polyurethane coupled with synthetic velvet in a grey, anti-yellowing colour. Therefore the base structure will remain
unaltered in time and won’t show any of the oxidation-induced flaws which are typical of traditional white velvet fabrics.

Una struttura solida e completamente smontabile ha il vantaggio di poter essere trasportata con estrema facilità e di poter essere
consegnata in qualsiasi luogo e in ogni situazione. Infatti scale anguste, mansarde e corridoi stretti non hanno mai rappresentato
un ostacolo per i nostri prodotti.
Grazie all’impiego da oltre 30 anni del cantonale brevettato, i letti con “struttura fissa” della collezione Axil sono completamente
smontabili in ogni loro parte e vengono assemblati grazie all’ausilio di sole 8 viti! Per alcuni modelli normalmente si impiega più
tempo a togliere i componenti dagli imballi che ad assemblare la struttura.
Nella versione con “box contenitore” l’imballo con le dimensioni maggiori, (cm 170x200 circa), è quello del telaio in acciaio.
A richiesta siamo in grado di realizzare la struttura del telaio box divisa in due elementi in maniera tale da facilitarne la consegna
in ambienti particolari, (contattare l’ufficio commerciale Axil per i costi e la fattibilità).
Nel corso della vostra vita potrete smontare e rimontare il vostro letto innumerevoli volte senza compromettere in alcun modo
le caratteristiche meccaniche della struttura.

A solid structure that can be totally dismantled offers the advantage that it can be transported extremely easily and delivered
anywhere and in any situation. Narrow stairways, attics and cramped corridors have never been a hindrance to our products.
Thanks to a patented corner piece that we have been using for more than 30 years, the beds of the Axil collection with a “fixed
base” can be totally dismantled in each single part and can be assembled with the aid of 8 screws only! With some of the models, taking out the components from their packages usually takes more time than actually assembling the structure.
In the “lift-up storage bed” version, the largest-sized package (approx. 170x200 cm) is that of the steel frame. On request, we can
provide the storage bed frame in two separate elements in order to be easily delivered in special spaces (as for costs and feasibility, please contact the Axil sales department).
Throughout your life, you will be able to dismantle and reassemble your bed countless times with no loss whatsoever of the mechanical features of the base structure.

LATTICE SETTE ZONE
La particolare alveolatura del materasso in Lattice, crea 7 zone di portanza differenziata, garantendo
la capacità di supportare le pressioni e assecondare le forme delle differenti parti del nostro corpo.
Il nucleo interno è formato da un monoblocco di lattice naturale bialveolato ad alta densità, (65kg al mc), di spessore cm 16, con portanza differenziata a 7 zone. Conforme alla normativa EU, certificato Eurolatex, totalmente anallergico, sterilizzabile ed esente da sostanze nocive per l’ambiante.Lattice 7 zone è disponibile nella versione fissa o con rivestimento sfoderabile. La versione fissa prevede la climatizzazione mediante l’uso di
misto lana bianca agugliata nel lato invernale e cotone bianco cardato e stabilizzato nel lato estivo; fodera di rivestimento in tessuto 100% cotone.
Nella versione sfoderabile la fodera di rivestimento è realizzata in tessuto antiacaro Amicor TM con cerniera divisibile.
Essendo il lattice un materiale “naturale”, onde evitare l’insorgenza di muffe, si richiede una accurata manutenzione al fine di eliminare gli eccessi
di vapore acqueo causati da particolari condizioni ambientali, sudorazione e traspirazione notturna. Ruotare il materasso testa-piedi un paio di
volte al mese, sollevare almeno una volta al mese dal piano rete permettendo l’evaporazione dell’umidità consolidatasi sul fondo, areare il locale
regolarmente consentendo il ricircolo d’aria.

The particular honey-comb structure of the Latex mattress creates 7 zones of differentiated lift, ensuring the ability to support pressures and accommodate the contours of the different parts of our body.
The inner core is made of one block of high density (65kg per cubic metre), double honeycomb natural Latex, 16cm thick and with 7 zones of differentiated lift. The Latex 7 Zone mattress is compliant with EU standards, Eurolatex certified, completely hypo-allergenic, sterilizable and free from
substances harmful to the environment. The 7 zone Latex mattress is available with a fixed or removable cover. The fixed cover type comes with
aeration obtained by a needle-punched white wool blend on the winter side and white carded stabilized cotton on the summer side: cover 100%
cotton fabric.
The cover of the removable type, is made of Amicor™ anti-dust mite fabric with a divisible zip.
Since Latex is a ‘natural’ material, to avoid the formation of mould, careful maintenance is required in order to remove excess water vapour
caused by particular environmental conditions, night sweats and perspiration. Turn the mattress head-to-foot a couple of times a month, lift it from
the slat base at least once a month to allow evaporation of any humidity formed underneath and regularly aerate the room.

SUPERPIUMA
Superpiuma è il materasso anatomico per eccellenza.
Il poliuretano viscoelastico che lo compone ha la capacità di modellarsi con il calore e il peso del corpo, riducendo al minimo la necessità di
cambiare posizione durante il sonno pur garantendo una normale circolazione sanguinea periferica. Il risultato è un riposo più profondo e un
risveglio accompagnato da una piacevole sensazione di benessere.

The Superpiuma is the excellence in anatomic mattress.
The viscoelastic polyurethane is made of can shape with the heat and the weight of the body, minimising the need to change position while
sleeping and ensuring a normal peripheral blood circulation. The result is a deeper sleep and waking up with a feeling of well being.
The 16cm thick inner core is made of a layer of ‘Ergo46’ polyurethane, plus two layers of “SR” (Slow Return) viscoelastic polyurethane with a

All Relaxil mattresses (with the exception of the version with removable ticking) offer a climate control function thanks to the white
needled wool for the winter side and the white, stabilized carded cotton for the summer side. The ticking has an hexagon-quilted finish

di cirmolo riduce la frequenza cardiaca durante il sonno, rafforzando il sistema cardio-circolatorio. Inoltre ha un affetto antibatterico e compensa
positivamente i disturbi derivanti dalla sensibilità ai cambiamenti del tempo favorendo un sonno particolarmente rigenerante. Il rivestimento esterno è realizzato in tessuto 100% saten di cotone. La trapuntatura di trattenimento è realizzata con un particolare disegno studiato per garantire

The outer cover is made of 100% cotton saten. I PIUMINI...DUVETS...
Un concentrato di tecnologia in 0,001 grammi…….
Piumini e piume sono stati concepiti dalla Natura in maniera così perfetta, che l’uomo semplicemente non può migliorarle.
Difatti, non c’è materiale che sia riuscito, fino ad oggi, a sostituire le qualità di piumini e piume.
Le materie prime impiegate per realizzare i piumini AXIL, provengono da oche di allevamenti specializzati e da anatre che vivono allo stato
selvatico, (piume raccolte in natura dopo la spiumatura autunnale). Lo standard qualitativo elevato è garantito dagli scrupolosi controlli effettuati
in ogni fase di lavorazione del prodotto,(depolverizzazione, lavaggio, asciugatura e sterilizzazione). Per confezionare i sacchi di contenimento
vengono impiegati soltanto i tessuti anti-piuma più fini e pregiati per evitare la fuoriuscita di piumino o piumette. Il riempimento e la confezione
dei quadri viene eseguito artigianalmente da personale esperto e altamente qualificato: soltanto la quantità prestabilita di materiale viene inserita
in ogni singolo quadro.
La corretta manutenzione dei piumini consiste in operazioni estremamente semplici:
• sprimacciare tutti i giorni per rimuovere l’umidità residua,
• arieggiare regolarmente, anche all’aria aperta, evitando il sole diretto, la nebbia e la pioggia,
• non usare battipanni e aspirapolvere al fine di preservare l’integrità del tessuto di rivestimento.
Tutti i piumini della collezione AXIL sono lavabili in lavatrice fino a 60° con un detergente delicato per lana e possono essere asciugate usando
un programma di asciugatura minimo.
Ogni 5 anni consigliamo una manutenzione professionale presso lavanderia specializzata.

Down and feathers were conceived by Nature so perfectly that man simply cannot improve them. In fact, there is no material that has so far
managed to replace the quality of down and feathers.
The raw materials used to make AXIL duvets come from specialised goose and duck flocks living in the wild (feathers gathered in nature following
autumn moulting). The high quality standard is ensured by thorough checks at every stage of product processing, (dusting, washing, drying and
sterilisation). For the duvet covers, only the finest and highest-quality anti-feather fabrics are used to avoid the escape of down or feathers. Filling and
sewing of quilts is carried out by experienced and highly qualified artisans: only the predetermined amount of material is inserted in each quilt square.
Proper maintenance of the duvet consists of very simple steps:
• plump up every day to remove residual moisture,
• aerate regularly, also outdoors, avoiding direct sunlight, fog and rain,
• do not use carpet beaters or vacuum cleaners in order to preserve the integrity of the cover fabric.
All duvets in the AXIL collection are machine washable up to 60 degrees with mild detergent for wool and may be tumble-dried using a short
drying programme.
Every 5 years we recommend professional maintenance at a specialist laundry.

Prima di essere lavorati con taglio meccanico, operazione che garantisce affidabilità e precisione nel realizzare il rivestimento tessile, i tessuti vengono controllati scrupolosamente affinché risultino conformi agli standard aziendali imposti ai nostri produttori.
Il pellame e il cuoio utilizzato per realizzare i nostri modelli viene totalmente controllato, segnato e tagliato manualmente nel
nostro stabilimento da personale qualificato.
Le operazioni di assemblaggio dei componenti, l’applicazione del rivestimento tessile alle parti imbottite e le rifiniture vengono
esclusivamente eseguite in azienda, dandoci la possibilità di controllare il prodotto e intervenire, se necessario, fino al momento
della spedizione.

By combining industrial production methods and technologies with hand-crafted care and passion, each single bed is assembled
and packaged according to real “made in Italy” criteria, from the inspection stage of any third-party supply to the whole of the
assembly and quality control stages.
Quality controls are performed at each production stage (from fabric cutting to packaging) and on each model we produce.
Before being cut with a mechanical cutting procedure that guarantees reliability and accuracy in the manufacture of textile covers,
fabrics are thoroughly controlled for their compliance with the corporate standards we impose on our suppliers.
The hides and leather we use in our models are closely inspected, marked and manually cut in our factory by qualified personnel.
The assembly of all components, the application of the textile coverings to the padded sections and the finishing touches are exclusively performed in our factory: this allows us to check the final product and to make adjustments – where needed – just before
shipping the product.
Thanks to the extremely high design flexibility of the base structures and the competence of the personnel who have been working
