Spiral Spinning Top Check list: 5 2 1 1. spiral (on page 2) 2. salad spinner lid 3. cardboard 4. white glue 5. pencil 6. masking tape 7. duct tape Print out the spiral image that is on page 2 and use your scissors to cut the circle out. 3 If you don’t have a salad spinner, you can just poke a pencil into the back of the cardboard and spin! Stick a few more pieces of masking tape onto the back of the cardboard disk. 4 But if you have a salad spinner, you can attach the spiral image to it. Fold over about four pieces of masking tape and stick them onto the inside of the salad spinner lid. 6 Attach the disk to the top of the lid of the salad spinner. 8 Use the spiral image as a guide to cut a cardboard circle. Glue the spiral image to the cardboard cutout. 7 Now start spinning! You can even decorate the spiral spinner by cutting cardboard into a strip that can bend around your circle. Use duct tape to attach the strip to the lid. If you want, add more duct tape to give it some funky colours! You can even paint the inside of your spinner black. Hypnotize your friends with the Artzooka spinning spiral top!! Page 2
