All classes are taught by Master Instructor Song, who has 35 years experience of martial arts and whose major is martial arts and physical education (B/A Degree in Seoul, Korea) and Master Wolf, who is the first NL Tigers master. NL Tigers masters are dedicated to teaching the martial arts as training for the mind, body, and spirit. Literally translated Korean word “Tae” means “to smash with foot”, “Kwon” means “to strike with hand”, and “Do” implies “the art or way of life.” Unlikely other Taekwondo School, NL Tigers Taekwondo teach all styles of Taekwondo and has exact written programs to produce future Taekwondo masters. All Taekwondo movements are also taught based on the scientific analysis, so students can accelerate their learning and apply their Taekwondo knowledge to their normal life for the ultimate their metal and physical health. To find out days and times for your children’s and your classes, you should consult with NL Tigers Taekwondo masters. Taekwondo is the education, but not play. When students are young, it is very important for them to learn Taekwondo properly under the certified masters. NL TIGERS HAPKIDO NL TIGERS INSTRUCTION Hapkido is the oldest Korean martial art which started with the beginning of the Korean history (B.C. 2333). The Korean word “Hap” means “to generate, synthesize, and utilize, “Ki” means “energy” which is transformed from chemical to mechanical energy, and “Do” means “the art or way of life.” NL Tigers Hapkido is based on strong Hapkido technical principles, Won (circular movements), and Yu (direction of energy), and Hwa (using opponent’s energy) and oriental principles , Yum (negative energy) and Yang (positive energy). Hapkido techniques are classified as breathing techniques used to maximize energy, stepping techniques to used improve speed and balance, falling techniques used to protect the body, attacking techniques used to attack the opponent's vital points such as punching, striking, kicking, thrusting, joint locking (submission techniques), joint breaking, chocking and throwing, and blocking techniques used to prevent the opponent’s approach. NL Tigers Tae Kwon Do and Hap Ki Do are being taught by the world famous Master Song, who came from Korea in 1995 and majored in martial arts (B/A degree) in Yong In Univ, known as Korean Ju Do College previously, and Master Wolf, who has been training in NL Tigers for 12 years and the first NL Tigers master. All faculty members are really dedicated to Taekwondo and Hapkido teaching for the next generation’s growth. Enrollment and Programs Students can enroll in NL Hapkido programs any time without waiting for the next semester, and the program structure are the same as Taekwondo. NL Tigers Class Structure NL Tigers’ Hapkido class structure is divided into all level children and adults classes.
