Background
It goes without saying that coffee has been one of the most
popular drinks in the world. Here in Taiwan, there are numerous coffee
shops and the competition is fierce. Located in Taiwan NanKang
Software Park, one of the largest coffee shops sells more than 50
different types of coffee, beverages, and desserts to business people
every day. For efficient store and human resource management, the
shop owner needs a simple but integrated security solution.
Mission
The shop owner was already using three AVTECH AVN80X Push Video IP cameras in the store for instant video
notification and two-way audio function on EagleEyes. However, without an integrated solution, the shop owner needs
to switch back and forth to view all the cameras. Also, the shop owner needs to add few more cameras, hopefully
combining with alarm system application to monitor employees’ activities, meals services, and the cashier status. The
shop owner then decides to find an integrated solution that upgrades his current solution with
alarm-based and multi-channel monitoring in a reasonable budget.

Benefits
Using AVH800 total solution, the store owner can
monitor multi-channels and have more choices on camera
selection on both ETS series and Push Video series.
The Full D1 and 720P-supported recording capacity of
AVH800 offers great image quality for the store owner to
monitor, identify, and record events clearly. Its slim and
elegant shape also looks more attractive like a consumer
electronic device rather than a traditional recorder.

For the new cameras, the store owner first added AVN90X solution for multiple alarms application. And then for
ETS series, the store owner decided on AVM328A, AVM357A, AVM301 based on the place he wants to monitor:
 AVN90X system integration: Temperature sensor and magnetic contact were connected to AVX951A controller
so that when the temperature of the fridge is abnormal (customized temperature range) or the door of the
fridge is unclosed for certain time (customized timing range), AVN90X would send Push Video to the store
owner immediately. The owner can then identify the degree of emergency and take proceeding actions to
quickly lower the damage.
