... that the Kaunertal Glacier has a huge variety of runs covering an
altitude difference of over 1,000 metres? And all that on broad and
uncrowded natural snow-covered slopes! The run from Drei-LänderBlick (“3-country view” – top station of the Karlesjoch gondola
at 3,108 m) down to the valley station of the Ochsenalm lift has an
altitude difference of about 1,000 metres and is 5.5 km long.

SKI 6 In the Oberland region of Tyrol, 6 ski regions have joined
forces to make one big combined ticket. With just one ski pass you
may enjoy skiing and snowboarding at: the Kaunertal Glacier,
Fendels, Serfaus, Fiss-Ladis, Nauders and the Venet areas. Access
to over 80 lifts gives you approx. 350 km of perfectly groomed trails,
most of them with snow making facilities, all on the one pass.
SNOWCARD GOLD The Snowcard Gold combines 5 ski resorts,
70 lifts and 365 kilometres of slopes in Tyrol and Switzerland. The
following ski areas are included: Kaunertal Glacier, Fendels, Ischgl,

The little ones will have fun learning how to ski or snowboard in the
BIBI Kinderland in Fendels and in the Kinderland at the Kaunertal
Glacier, while parents can enjoy skiing on the vast glacier slopes or
forest runs in Fendels. The kids will not be bored, even during lunch
breaks: the playground next to the Weißsee mountain restaurant’s
sun terrace and the adventure playground at the Sattelklause
restaurant are the perfect places for the little ones to play and let off
steam.
„CHECK YOUR LINE“
Wide slopes, endless powder snow and untouched lines await
freeriders and snowboarders in Kaunertal. Our innovative “Check
your Line” information system which accompanies freeriders on the
Weißseejoch variant guarantees safety in addition to fun and is a
constant source of all necessary information.
KEYCARDS: Our ski area is fully equipped with a non-contact keycard system.
This means that your ski pass will be issued in the form of an electronic keycard.
A € 2.00 deposit is charged for each card, which will be refunded upon return of the
undamaged keycard at all ticket counters of the Kaunertaler Gletscherbahnen ski
lifts or tourist office, swimming pool, sports shop or hotel reception. Lift tickets are
verified electronically at all lifts and facilities in the resort. Non-skiers are issued
magnetic tickets for single trips, which must be inserted into the appropriate card
readers.
MISUSE, REPLACEMENT AND EXTENSIONS: Ticket inspections are carried out
regularly and at random. The ski pass must be shown to lift personnel upon request.
Ski passes are issued to individuals and are non-transferable. Any misuse will result
in immediate confiscation and a fine equal to a triple daily tariff. We reserve the right
to press charges. The subsequent exchange for another ski pass and extension or
postponement of the validity period is not possible.
MIXED PRICE: A mixed price is calculated for ski passes when seasons overlap.
PARKING: Parking is free in all our car parks!
PISTE RESCUE: Should you need to be rescued on the slopes, you will be charged
by us and required to pay in cash.
REFUNDS IN THE EVENT OF SKIING ACCIDENTS: In the event of a skiing accident,
money will only be refunded when the ski pass is valid for two days or more.
No refunds will be made to accompanying persons. The refund is calculated from
the time the ski pass is handed in and not from the day of the accident. A medical
certificate from a local doctor must be obtained and presented before any refund
can be given.
SKI PASS PARTNERSHIPS: The individual services to which the pass entitles you
are provided by independent operators. The company selling the pass acts solely
as a representative of the other operators. The respective operator is therefore
responsible for the provision of these services and for damage claims arising from
any unforeseen incidents.
LOSS: Lost ski passes will only be replaced upon presentation of a code-blocking
receipt (till receipt) and for a processing fee. A replacement keycard must also be
paid for.
CHOICE SKI PASS: I.e. 6 in 7 means that within seven days, you can ski on six of
them. The last valid skiing day will be given on your ski pass.

TOLLGATE/GLACIER ROAD COUNTER: 7 am – 5 pm (daily, also Sunday and public
holidays), ticket counter at the middle lift station in Fendels: 9 am – 4 pm, ticket
counter at bottom station in Ried: 8.30 am – 4.30 pm (at the Fendels lifts during
winter and summer operating hours). We kindly ask you to remember that lift passes
or toll tickets for the glacier and Glacier Road are ONLY available at the toll booth/
ticket counter in the valley.
SNOWPARK K AUNERTAL
The versatile setup of Kaunertal Snowpark is sure to impress. From
beginners to professionals, everyone from the freestyle scene meets
at the Kaunertal Glacier. Since 30 years the Snowpark opens in
autumn with the legendary Kaunertal Opening and a program with
international contests, testival area, side events and party nights.
In spring, the Spring Classics provide a perfect shaped park for long
and sunny days on the glacier.
