ski 6 In the Oberland region of Tyrol, 6 ski partnerships have joined
forces to make one big combined ticket. With just one ski pass you can
enjoy skiing and snowboarding at: the Kaunertal Glacier, Fendels,
Serfaus, Fiss-Ladis, Nauders and the Venet region. Access to over
80 lifts gives you approx. 340 km of perfectly groomed trails, most
of them with snowmaking, all on the one pass.
snowcard gold The Snowcard Gold combines 5 ski resorts,
69 lifts and 362 kilometres of slopes in Tyrol and Switzerland. The
following ski areas are included: Kaunertal Glacier, Fendels, Ischgl,
Samnaun and Nauders.
The toll price covers both legs of a return trip. Rental cars can only
purchase day tickets. Free for children under 10 years. The toll for the
Glacier Road is included in the price of your ski pass.

“80+ Promotion”: senior citizens aged 80 or older ski for free!
SKI BUS: The ski bus is public transportation and is therefore not free of charge.
Holders of a normal priced ski pass for a minimum of 4 days can use the ski bus to
the Glacier for free. It costs € 5.00 per day for holders of 1-3 day tickets. The ski bus
to Fendels is free. (This does not apply to season pass holders).

Free skiers and snowboarders get to experience all the adventure of
winter and the mountains at over 3,000 metres above sea level in the
Kaunertal. Sprawling slopes of endless untracked powder await all
powder junkies. Our innovative information system “Check your Line”
guarantees not just fun, but safety too, providing or repeating the
necessary expertise.

SKI INSTRUCTORS: Ski instructors pay normal children’s rates on day and
multi-day passes (ID with valid annual international IVSI stamp required). This
does not apply to season passes, partnership/combination passes or other already

world and kindly ask you to treat it with respect.
DISCOUNTED PASSES: Photo ID is required for the purchase of discounted passes
(bambini, children, seniors and disabled) without exception. There are no further
discounts on already discounted passes.
KEYCARDS: Our ski area is fully equipped with a non-contact keycard system. This
means that your ski pass will be issued in the form of an electronic keycard. A
€ 5.00 deposit is charged for each card, which will be refunded upon return of the
undamaged keycard at all ticket counters of the Kaunertaler Gletscherbahnen ski
lifts or tourist office, swimming pool, sports shop or hotel reception. Lift tickets
are verified electronically at all lifts and facilities in the resort. Non-skiers are issued magnetic tickets for single trips, which must be inserted into the appropriate
card readers.
LOSS: Lost ski passes will only be replaced upon presentation of a code-blocking
receipt (till receipt) and for a processing fee. A replacement keycard must also be
paid for.

DID YOU KNOW ...
... that the Kaunertal Glacier has a huge variety of runs covering an
altitude difference of over 1,000 metres? And all that on broad and
uncrowded natural snow-covered slopes! The run from Dreiländerblick
(“three countries view” – top station of the Karlesjoch cable car
at 3,108 m) down to the valley station of the Ochsenalm lift has an
altitude difference of about 1,000 metres and is 5.5 km long.

FUN AND INDULGENCE
SHUTDOWN OF OPERATIONS, MALFUNCTIONS AND REDUCED SERVICE: Non-use
of the ski pass due to poor weather conditions, avalanche danger, systems failure,
closure of slopes, unexpected departures etc. are not valid claims for refunds or
extensions. Using the ski slopes is done at one’s own risk. Subject to changes in
operating hours due to snow conditions.
MISUSE, REPLACEMENT AND EXTENSIONS: Ticket inspections are carried out
regularly and at random. The ski pass must be shown to lift personnel upon
request. Ski passes are issued to individuals and are non-transferable. Any misuse
will result in immediate confiscation and a fine equal to a triple daily tariff. We
reserve the right to press charges. The subsequent exchange for another ski pass
and extension or postponement of the validity period is not possible.
MIXED PRICE: A mixed price is calculated for ski passes when seasons overlap.
PARKING: Parking is free in all our car parks!

REFUNDS IN THE EVENT OF SKIING ACCIDENTS: In the event of a skiing accident,
money will only be refunded when the ski pass is valid for two days or more. No
refunds will be made to accompanying persons. The refund is calculated from the
time the ski pass is handed in and not from the day of the accident. A medical
certificate from a local doctor must be obtained and presented before any refund
can be given.
SKI PASS PARTNERSHIPS: The individual services to which the pass entitles you
are provided by independent operators. The company selling the pass acts solely
as a representative of the other operators. The respective operator is therefore
responsible for the provision of these services and for damage claims arising from
any unforeseen incidents.
The Fendels ski bus only runs when the Fendels ski resort is open; planned opening times 10.12.11*** - 14.04.12***

TOLL BOOTH/GLACIER ROAD COUNTER: 7am - 5 pm (daily, also Sunday and public
holidays), ticket counter at the middle lift station in Fendels: 9 am - 4 pm (at the
Fendels lifts during winter and summer operating hours). We kindly ask you to

WE ARE OFTEN ASKED WHY WE DON’T REPLACE THE DRAG LIFTS WITH MODERN
LIFT FACILITIES, LIKE THE KARLESJOCH CABLE CAR:
About 50 % of the slopes in our ski resort are located on glacial ice,
which shifts approximately 30 - 50 m each year. Every summer, 35
employees are brought in to install the lift supports and rebuild the
drag lifts. Though costly and time consuming, this process is also the
gentlest way of operating ski lifts on ice: there is no concrete involved;
instead the floating supports are anchored to the ice with guy wires.
