Building on the 2 year’s success, we invite all players and stakeholders
involved in wave and tidal energy research and development to the Wave
Energy International Business2Business Event, WEIB.
Offshoreenergy.dk have an 9 year track record of coordinating
international B2B events for the offshore industry. OWIB brings together
the offshore wind energy sector, while OGIB is an annual gathering of the
oil & gas sector. WEIB was added to the list of networking activities in
2014.
These events paves the way for knowledge sharing and help to create
many new and interesting business partnerships and contacts which have
promoted the growth and development of the energy sector. Building on
previous successes, it is with great pleasure that we offer a similar event
for wave energy again this year.
The WEIB programme has two primary activities:
1. SECTOR UPDATE: Information about the most recent
test results as well as current and upcoming wave energy projects
2. NETWORKING: A B2B speed networking event

The B2B speed networking event gives you an opportunity to meet representatives from six
different companies, universities and other stakeholders at 15-minute meetings. All you have to do
is register meeting requests on the Offshoreenergy.dk online B2B tool, B2Bplanner.net.
Offshoreenergy.dk will then create personal meeting schedules for all participants – based on their
individual meeting requests.

EXHIBITION: WEIB offers you opportunities to maximize your visibility towards the
international wave energy industry through exhibition stands and through sponsor

Max has many years’ experience in
offshore renewables. In 2011 he
founded Caelulum Ltd to provide
management and consultancy services
to the offshore wind, wave and tidal
markets.
Dr. Beatty has over a decade of marine systems
R&D experience.He currently serves as a
Convener & Subject Matter Expert for two IEC
International project teams. As Director of R&D
at Cascadia, Scott oversee all marine systems
R&D projects.
This work has included strategies for bringing new products to
market, financial and market analysis, energy policy advice, the
establishment of joint ventures and partnerships and project
development work.
