Ancient Knowledge of West Africa Led by Foday Musa Suso Suso, Mandingo Griot & Oral Historian Foday Musa Suso was born into a griot / oral historian family in a small village in Gambia. Interfaith Community Sanctuary is honored to host Mr. Suso, as he, for the first time in the Pacific Northwest, publicly shares ancient knowledge and teachings from his ancestral heritage. Foday has the unique experience of being raised in a small village and trained in traditional methods the teachings of his ancestral heritage. He’s been able to experience those teachings while traveling the world for nearly 40 years playing his family instrument. 4 Tuesday evenings 7:00-9:00pm January 6th — January 27th Tuition: $125.
