The Standale Social Green Acres Standale
Green Acres Standale The Standale Social The desire of Retirement Living is to honor God by providing the elderly with a lifestyle that values their identity, their independence, and their dignity. As we look forward to the arrival of spring, I can't help thinking about the word renewal. As the dreary winter days become fewer and fewer, we have the hope of the renewal. The renewal of our soul, mind, and body. We look forward to shedding the layers that winter requires and spending time enjoying the spring air and sunshine. We are renewed by the longer and lighter days and the sweet smells in the air. The promise of spring is a great reminder that following every season of darkness and gloom, there freshness and a reawakening of our senses. Sometimes during seasons of change we can experience feelings of anxiety and fear about the unknown and we resist change. Even though the change is for our good and helps us to grow into who God is refining us to be... we still struggle. Sometimes we need to leave behind things that are familiar and things that have been blessings in our life in order to embrace the new blessings God has prepared for us. As I find myself in a season of change and prepare myself to embrace the changes and new opportunities that lie ahead of me. I also recognize the residents, families and staff here in Standale are also in a time of change. I know we serve a faithful God and I can't wait to see the blessings He provides in the days to come, even through the changes.
